Did you think I was sending you a clue for today's word?

No, but I saw your emphasis and decided to run with it.  Is that a problem as well?

Well, I have helped you dilute your 'jagging'...

And not a DRINK in it for me.

If NYT wants to make wordle competitive, it needs to upgrade the game such that it throws a random 5-letter word every time it's played which would be quasi-unique to every player.

That way there would be no point publishing the word of the day, or playing under multiple usernames or using browser private/incognito settings to subvert the outcome of each day's game.

Also, the published list would be useless as it could not show the word of the day in chronological order.

There is a much simpler solution.

Don't cheat.

Surely you can manage that, yes?

I am not doing this as a contest.  I do it as a challenge for myself.

There are many wordle competitions running out there so it would be in NYT's interest to prevent even the possibility cheating or many will lose interest.

Imagine a world where your 'jagging' would not be a sign of your cheating but truly a sign that you are a geriatric prodigy.

Again.....there you go with unnecessary gymnastics.  Focus.  There is no competition I am interested in, other than against myself.

Don't cheat.

How ferking hard is that?

To encourage others to have a go.

Also...it seems to give you the schits.

Cool

Not well at all.  It seems we have an obsessed Doubting Thomas here who might be putting people off, ey?  What do you reckon?

Perhaps some encouragement instead?

The wordle app is flawed.

NYT needs to fix it.
