I just did 😳

Do the NYT wordle.

Link.

If you solve it, you will see a box appear and the word share is visible.  Hit share.

Then come here and 'share' buy hitting 'ctrl' plus 'v.'

Ohhhh. 👌

I'll do that from now on. Thanks Aussie. Apologies for introducing so much chat into this topic. Cheers.

Still running around plugging in household chores. I'll try it AFTER my 1st load of washing is on the line. Hubby keeps producing washing as he's got Covid19 again. 3 of his colleagues have come down with it. NSW Dept of Health have told his workplace that this latest strain is very infectious. Well if that's the case then this may well be my turn to get Covid19 myself as I'm completely unvaccinated. Anyway I need to keep sterilising everything here with either boiled water, disinfectant or bleach. BBL....need to check PA too.

1. I just did it. It took me less than 1 minute to solve and I got this response by NYT : IMPRESSIVE. Is that something you see also?

2. I'm on an IPhone remember (I'm always moving about doing chores) so I don't know about sharing my results in the way you've explained. I took a screenshot though. I'm happy to post said screenshot later on today AFTER others have had a chance to try their hand.

3. I'll email said screenshot to you now if you like.

Let me see if I can do this manually :

1st turn

1 letter right but in the wrong place
4 letters completely wrong

2nd turn

1 letter right AND in the right place
4 letters completely wrong.

3rd turn

Hidden word solved.

MY secret (keep in mind that this may not work for you):

1. Always START with a 5 letter word which has 3 consonants and 2 vowels. Why? Those vowels (irrespective of whether they're right or wrong) will give you unbelievable clues as to how you move forward.

2. Don't disregard incorrect vowels and incorrect consonants. They're important because they help you discount words.

* 3. Do get into the habit of sitting down with a cuppa (while plugging in your daily chores of course) and jump into a routine of completing crossword puzzles and code cracker puzzles. Why? These will teach your brain to recognise recurring patterns and word structures.

Apparently the most commonly used start word is ROATE.

I usually start with AUDIO followed by something with an E in it!.

Oh really??? Now that IS interesting.

I'll try both those options in the other wordle puzzles I solve.

I'll start with AUDIO first and try that about 10 times and see what results I get.

Then I'll do the same for ROATE.

I'll then compare my results.

Note : I'm thinking (and I could be wrong) that 3 vowels is not the way forward as there are way too many consonants in the alphabet which need to be sorted and you don't want to be wasting turns trying to discard irrelevant consonants. Having said this ... let's see how these 2 words go as starting points. Cheers.
