Three of the most common consonants in  English are R, S and T.  Most common vowels are E and A.  Stare has all five.   Shocked Shocked

Has anyone else solved Wordle within 2 turns yet?

I just did 😳

Do the NYT wordle.

Link.

If you solve it, you will see a box appear and the word share is visible.  Hit share.

Then come here and 'share' by hitting 'ctrl' plus 'v.'

1. I just did it. It took me less than 1 minute to solve and I got this response by NYT : IMPRESSIVE. Is that something you see also?

2. I'm on an IPhone remember (I'm always moving about doing chores) so I don't know about sharing my results in the way you've explained. I took a screenshot though. I'm happy to post said screenshot later on today AFTER others have had a chance to try their hand.

3. I'll email said screenshot to you now if you like.

Perhaps hit "Share" then "Copy text" ?

Then come here and open a reply - hold your finger in the reply box and "Paste"?

It's not happening for me sorry. I'm on an Apple IPhone.

I'll post up my screenshot from this morning as an attachment (when everyone has finished of course).

Will that be ok?

Let me see if I can do this manually :

1st turn

1 letter right but in the wrong place
4 letters completely wrong

2nd turn

1 letter right AND in the right place
4 letters completely wrong.

3rd turn

Hidden word solved.

MY secret (keep in mind that this may not work for you):

1. Always START with a 5 letter word which has 3 consonants and 2 vowels. Why? Those vowels (irrespective of whether they're right or wrong) will give you unbelievable clues as to how you move forward.

2. Don't disregard incorrect vowels and incorrect consonants. They're important because they help you discount words.

* 3. Do get into the habit of sitting down with a cuppa (while plugging in your daily chores of course) and jump into a routine of completing crossword puzzles and code cracker puzzles. Why? These will teach your brain to recognise recurring patterns and word structures.

I've got the go ahead to post up my screenshot now.

Let's see if it comes up....

Another hack is to open up an incognito window and run wordle from that.

You can then try as often as you like by continuing to open incognito windows if you bum out on the previous attempt.

What???

No no no no no! That defeats the entire purpose of the puzzle. In any event you're only cheating yourself because you're only competing against your previous best efforts anyway.

My hack is to NOT wait for the daily Wordle release by NYT but to go to other Wordle websites ( I've given you some links in this very topic) and do as many as you can. It's like riding a bicycle...after a while you find your rhythm.

Tonight : For the first time ever I'm going to TRY that awful looking messy thing called QUORDLE 😳🥺😔

Only God knows why ...

NYT's wordle is low-tech designed by a Welsh guy, Josh Wardle, for a bit of fun with a mate during the pandemic.

When it went wildly viral, NYT bought it but did not improve the original simple design.

That's why it's so easy to hack.
