Capitalist Oligarchs, the dirty dozen
Mar 7th, 2022 at 11:40pm

Elon Musk has recently been demanding that Joe Biden attend Elon Musk and grovel and genuflect in Elon Musk's presence.

Elon Musk has also been perverting the financial markets and defying the SEC and expecting to get away with it.

Are Capitalist Oligarchs any more moral and ethical than Russian Oligarchs?

Is it actually possible for an Oligarch to be a Communist or Socialist? I believe not.

Bill Gates, Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos and the rest of the ‘Oligarchic Dozen’ just reached a ‘disturbing milestone’
Published: Aug. 18, 2020 at 11:01 a.m. ET
By Shawn Langlois

‘This is simply too much economic and political power in the hands of twelve people’

“The rich get richer” doesn’t even begin to tell the story these days.

According to the Institute for Policy Studies, the wealth of the top 12 billionaires in the U.S. recently exploded to more than one trillion dollars — yes, 13 digits.

The statistic, of course, is an eye-popping figure on its face, made even more so in light of the devastation in the broader economy due to the coronavirus pandemic.

“This is a disturbing milestone in the U.S. history of concentrated wealth and power,” said Chuck Collins, a director for the Washington D.C.-based progressive think tank. “This is simply too much economic and political power in the hands of twelve people. From the point of view of a democratic self-governing society, this represents an Oligarchic Dozen.”

Since the pandemic first blew up in the U.S. back in March, the “Oligarchic Dozen” has enjoyed a 40% surge in its combined wealth — or an increase of $283 billion.

Tesla’s TSLA, -0.12%  Elon Musk has been the biggest beneficiary, with his wealth, as of August 13, tripling to $73 billion. That doesn’t even include the fierce rally in Tesla shares on Monday, which pushed Musk into the fourth position on the Bloomberg Billionaires Index.

Here’s the full list:

“The total wealth of the Oligarchic Dozen is greater than the GDP of Belgium and Austria combined,” said Omar Ocampo, a researcher for IPS’s program on inequality and the common good. “Meanwhile, tens of millions of Americans are unemployed or living paycheck to paycheck, and 170,000 people have died from COVID-19 in the United States.”

The Oligarchic Dozen, like everybody else, got off to a rough start this year, with the group’s collective wealth dropping by almost $100 billion from January 1 to March 18. It didn’t take long for their net worth to rebound and surpass their September 2019 levels, except for Warren Buffett BRK.A, -0.77%  , who is still a couple billion short of his year-ago figure.

And it’s not just Bezos and the bunch who have seen fortune smile upon them lately. CEO compensation, overall, climbed to its highest level in seven years last year, and it is positioned to rise once again in 2020, according to an Economic Policy Institute study cited by the Washington Post. In fact, the pay ratio between chief executives and workers at America’s 350 biggest companies has widened to 320-to-1, the researchers found.

Meanwhile, many on the “Oligarch” list were having another good run on Tuesday, with Amazon AMZN, -1.53%  , Alphabet GOOG, -1.63%  , Tesla and Microsoft MSFT, -2.05%  , all in the green. The Dow Jones Industrial Average DJIA, -0.24%  was lagging, while the S&P 500 SPX, -0.79%  and tech-heavy Nasdaq Composite COMP, -1.66%  were both pushing higher.

This is the new world order laugh

The head of the world economic forum said as much

He wrote a book called the great reset for Christ sake

If you go to YouTube and check out Charles schwab

You will find him glorifying the Chinese model

And espousing what he calls

Stakeholder capitalism

The nation-state is dead it is caput

The oligarchs of which you speak completely control the corporate media and the political elite

Amazon Netflix McDonald's the Coca-Cola corporation
The big banks that underwrote the covid cash splash
Big pharma. Facebook and Google and Microsoft

They have completely dominated the response to the pandemic for their own power and financial ends

What is truly extraordinary is that the left who normally despise the big capitalists
Are now their greatest allies

Are they also of the deserving elite who will gloriously benefit all of society and trickle down all benefit via tax cuts etc ---- or are there categories of merit or something in the capitalist oligarch stakes?

They are the deserving elites only in the following way

Most of the populous are chodes
Who are more than happy to hand over responsibility for the trajectory of their lives from cradle-to-grave
They just want to be stimulated with sugar and fat and porn
And contribute as little as possible

That's the vast majority of the unthinking masses
Living what I call the life of pure garbage

Gates bezos Dorsey Buffett Zuckerberg

They want to keep the unthinking masses stuck in chode purgatory
And the easiest way to do that
Is to demolish any concept of strong competent confident self reliance

The idea of stakeholder capitalism
Is that the citizens willingly give up self reliance to live in a safe nanny state
They willingly accept weakness and security
Instead of strength and adventure

The stakeholder capitalists have a vested interest in promoting fear and anxiety and the timid approach to life

Small business people
Farmers
Plumbers
Carpenters
Plant operators
Restauranteurs
Gym owners
Surveyors
Tourist operators
Mechanics

These people are the backbone of society

Unfortunately
The vast majority of people are stuck n a garbage job
Or are on welfare
Or are public servants

And that vast majority are more than happy to form an alliance with the
Big tech corporate media nanny state government
And if the livelihoods and interests of the productive small business people have to be sacrificed
They are unaware and indifferent to their plight

Coveid taught us this if nothing else

Your contempt for public servants includes medics, clinicians, emergency services, infrastructure personnel... How is it unfortunate that they exist?

Billy Joel tells a story of a time he visited his father in Vienna. Joel was in a hurry to be somewhere with his father, when Howard Joel struck up a long conversation with a street sweeper as they were walking.

When it was over, Billy, annoyed, berated his father for wasting time talking to a nobody.

His father responded, 'see these clean streets? See these washed buildings? That man did that for us. He deserves our acknowledgement and respect'.

It inspired Billy Joel to write the song 'Vienna waits for you'.

No, dear, that was those who benefited from Dear Leader's tax cuts. You know, those Republicans in Congress who kept quiet whilst Dear Leader created the biggest ever deficit in America's history while the "noble Donald" kept spending on the US military, supported the Saudis, Turks, Rocket Man and, er, the "noble Vlad".

No one has ever been tougher on Russia, believe me, no?

Aquascoot is very wrong which demonstrates how he has been victimized by propagandists.

The most important and productive people in Capitalist societies are consumers.

If consumers didn't exist, all those listed by Aquascoot wouldn't exist.

Consumerism is the link between communism and capitalism as the dictatorship of the proletariat (=consumers + bogus democracy) is the objective of both sides.

Well - I'm a strong defender of the middle class in the economic sense - just not in the social sense of feeling some right to be 'better' ... divisiveness is not going to help anyone...

Interestingly they are all Originally from Russia or Ukraine. Just to add to this list:
Victoria Nuland, Antony Blinken, Rothschild, George Soros etc, etc.
The said thing is that they rule today America. During WW2 Soros worked for Nazis.
