The term Catholic Country hasn’t the same meaning it often did. Instance, many nations with a majority Catholic population run secular governments. Allow the church to again be govern and the fires would be lit again. The Church of Rome is already enforcing it’s stance on abbortion in nations where is has sufficient power . Give them an inch and they’ll take a mile

Christianity covers a multitude of sins and a few good ideas if we can believe the essence of the New Testament.
The last few hundred years of academic biblical studies have struggled valiantly to re-write the import of scripture, not always successfully. One brave attempt is the work of Bishop John Shelby Spong who’s worth a read.
We need to be on guard though against any body of religious dogma claiming it speaks for and on behalf of ’The Almighty’ . Few instances of human vanity equal this one.

I have no idea why you’ve mentioned multiculturalism and relativism.
