Quote:
EXCLUSIVE: Hunter Biden DID help secure millions in funding for US contractor in Ukraine specializing in deadly pathogen research, laptop emails reveal, raising more questions about the disgraced son of then vice president

The Russian government held a press conference Thursday claiming that Hunter Biden helped finance a US military 'bioweapons' research program in Ukraine

However the allegations were branded a brazen propaganda ploy to justify president Vladimir Putin's invasion of Ukraine and sow discord in the US

But emails and correspondence obtained by DailyMail.com from Hunter's abandoned laptop show the claims may well be true

The emails show Hunter helped secure millions of dollars of funding for Metabiota, a Department of Defense contractor specializing in research on pandemic-causing diseases

He also introduced Metabiota to an allegedly corrupt Ukrainian gas firm, Burisma, for a 'science project' involving high biosecurity level labs in Ukraine
The president's son and his colleagues invested $500,000 in Metabiota through their firm Rosemont Seneca Technology Partners
They raised several million dollars of funding for the company from investment giants including Goldman Sachs

Moscow’s claim that Hunter Biden helped finance a US military 'bioweapons' research program in Ukraine is at least partially true, according to new emails obtained exclusively by DailyMail.com.

The commander of the Russian Nuclear, Biological and Chemical Protection Forces, claimed there was a 'scheme of interaction between US government agencies and Ukrainian biological objects' and pointed to the 'financing of such activities by structures close to the current US leadership, in particular the investment fund Rosemont Seneca, which is headed by Hunter Biden.'

Intelligence experts say the Russian military leader's allegations were a brazen propaganda ploy to justify president Vladimir Putin's invasion of Ukraine and sow discord in the US.

But emails from Hunter's abandoned laptop show he helped secure millions of dollars of funding for Metabiota, a Department of Defense contractor specializing in research on pandemic-causing diseases that could be used as bioweapons.

He also introduced Metabiota to an allegedly corrupt Ukrainian gas firm, Burisma, for a 'science project' involving high biosecurity level labs in Ukraine.

And although Metabiota is ostensibly a medical data company, its vice president emailed Hunter in 2014 describing how they could 'assert Ukraine's cultural and economic independence from Russia' – an unusual goal for a biotech firm.

Emails and defense contract data reviewed by DailyMail.com suggest that Hunter had a prominent role in making sure Metabiota was able to conduct its pathogen research just a few hundred miles from the border with Russia.

The project turned into a national security liability for Ukraine when Russian forces invaded the country last month.

The image says that many European leaders wanted him dismissed - that was because he was corrupt.

The image says that he was investigating Barisma but that investigation ended several years earlier.

Recommendation - don't let the truth get in the way of what you would prefer to be true.

“We all see that emperor, Joe Biden has no clothes,” Jesse Watters told viewers on his primetime show. “Joe Biden isn’t perfect. Joe Biden’s not making anybody happy. He’s not delivering for Republicans or Democrats or anybody. And his polling numbers are terrible. And Democrats are about to get wiped out and America knows it.”

“So does the media, but the media has too much pride to admit they were wrong,” he continued. “So the cover-up continues. We told you this week, his approval rating slipped to 34%. He’s losing blacks, whites, Latinos. Primetime is hearing that Hunter will be indicted. Biden will probably pardon his son and announce he’s not running for re-election. So who else is there to carry the torch?”

Watters didn’t elaborate the concrete information that leads him to believe Hunter Biden might be indicted. Such a development would send a shockwave through a political establishment that has been almost entirely unaccountable to the law for at least the last two decades.

https://trendingpolitics.com/fox-news-host-gets-word-hunter-biden-will-be-indict...

How could this be? Biden is the most popular president in American history, he ever received more votes then his old boss Barry Soetoro?

Biden threatend to withhold a billion dollar loan from Ukraine if they didn't fire the prosecutor investigating Burisma. You can hear and see Joe brag about is here- https://www.wsj.com/video/opinion-joe-biden-forced-ukraine-to-fire-prosecutor-fo...

Biden had the prosecutor investigating Burisma fired when Joe was VP and Hunter was on Burisma board and the prosecutor who replaced him did nothing with Burisma apart from closing the case.
Quote:
John Buretta: For us it was important to close all cases against Burisma and Nikolay Zlochevskyi in a legally sound manner

Feb. 1, 2017.

In mid-January, Burisma Group announced that all cases against its president, Nikolay Zlochevskyi, and Burisma companies were fully closed. The former Minister Nikolay Zlochevskyiis one of the few public officials from the previous government who voluntarily subjected himself to the investigation in Ukraine.

An American lawyer and former U.S. Deputy Assistant Attorney General, John Buretta, was one of the key attorneys on Mr. Zlochevskyi’s defense team.

Ukraine widens probe against Burisma founder to embezzlement of state funds

NOVEMBER 21, 2019

KIEV (Reuters) - Ukraine has widened its investigation into the founder of energy company Burisma to include suspicion of embezzling state funds, Prosecutor General Ruslan Ryaboshapka said on Wednesday.

After he took office in late August, Ryaboshapka launched a wide-ranging audit of criminal cases to see whether they had been conducted properly. Thirteen of them relate to Burisma founder Mykola Zlochevsky, Ryaboshapka told reporters at a briefing on Wednesday.

Ryaboshapka’s predecessors oversaw a series of investigations into Zlochevsky, a multimillionaire former minister of ecology and natural resources. The allegations concern tax violations, money-laundering and licences given to Burisma during the period where Zlochevsky was a minister.

Ryaboshapka said Zlochevsky was now suspected of the “theft of government funds on an especially large scale,” but did not provide evidence or details.

The investigation is effectively on hold, however, because the Ukrainian authorities cannot determine Zlochevsky’s whereabouts.

He said at that meeting Kulyk echoed allegations that in 2016 Joe Biden as Vice President had tried to have Ukraine’s then-chief prosecutor, Viktor Shokin, fired to stop him investigating Burisma. Biden has accused Giuliani of peddling “false, debunked conspiracy theories” for repeating these allegations.

https://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-trump-impeachment-burisma-idUSKBN1XU2N7

Biden had the prosecutor investigating Burisma fired the next prosecutor who Biden was happy with did nothing. When he was replaced investigations were reopened and by then Zlochevsky had fled with the loot and cannot be found.

In a sworn affidavit prepared for a European court, Shokin testified that when he was fired in March 2016, he was told the reason was that Biden was unhappy about the Burisma investigation. “The truth is that I was forced out because I was leading a wide-ranging corruption probe into Burisma Holdings, a natural gas firm active in Ukraine and Joe Biden’s son, Hunter Biden, was a member of the Board of Directors,” Shokin testified.

Do you understand that everyone wanted this guy to be gone. Biden wasn't skulking around to do this - he was in the media about it.

The investigation into Barisma is still disputed, There was a later investigation and the findings include Hunter Biden being cleared of any wrong doing. The earlier investigation was primarily about the previous owner who had left before Hunter was employed.

Quote:
in accord with the official and bipartisan policy of the federal government of the United States. The US government, along with the European Union, the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund, believed the prosecutor to be corrupt and ineffective and too lenient in investigating companies and oligarchs, including Burisma and its owner. A January 2018 video shows Biden taking credit for withholding the loan guarantees to have the prosecutor fired, acting to implement bipartisan US policy rather than for the reasons the conspiracy theory alleges.

Leading into the US presidential election, the tech companies, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, and practically all the media suppressed the discovery of Hunter Biden’s laptop. While much of the contents of the laptop was salacious, many emails and other documents raised pertinent and serious questions about the Biden family’s foreign ties and lobbying.

Had the laptop belonged to another candidate’s son, it would certainly have been the only story you would have heard in the final weeks of the election.

But lies were concocted: “The laptop was hacked or stolen”; it was not. Or: “It was Russian disinformation”; it was not. And the story was completely suppressed. It was censored by everyone.

Fast forward to last week. The election is over. And The New York Times, quietly, in paragraph 24 of a story about Hunter Biden’s taxes, admits that it has now “authenticated” the laptop and its contents.

All the New York Post’s reporting was true. All was factual. But it was suppressed and lied about for as long as it suited the political orthodoxy. This, from purely a journalistic point of view, is shameful. It should not happen. And we should never let it happen here.

Finding truth is often hard. It very often comes with great personal costs. But it is essential to our nation and to our future. Telling the truth is part of our national character.

In Australia we should reject every effort, and there are many, to limit points of view, to obstruct a diversity of opinions and to enforce a singular world view. Those efforts are fundamentally anti-Australian.

No the article does not say that.

Here is the relevant part of 24:

Quote:
Those emails were obtained by The New York Times from a cache of files that appears to have come from a laptop abandoned by Mr. Biden in a Delaware repair shop. The email and others in the cache were authenticated by people familiar with them and with the investigation.

https://www.nytimes.com/2020/10/22/us/politics/hunter-biden-laptop.html

This is saying that a specific group of email were authenticated, we always knew this was the case. This does not include the laptop (which they do not have and never did) though it is likely genuine and it does not include authentication of over 98% of the data on the laptop also a lot of that is likely legitimate but certainly not confirmed and very possibly not all of it is genuine. You would expect that 99% of the laptop contents has no relevance.

Do you know how much of what you post overall is not true ?

Speak to that fact, duckwit. The suppression of the news and the reporting by NYP, the lies by the 50+ ex-security 'experts' that it is a Russia hoax, etc.

As a veteran pwogwessive duckwit, you simultaneously hold contradictory ideas in your head: laptop is not relevant AND whatever it says about the Bidens is a Russia hoax. Both are contradictory lies yet you hold them both to be true.

In the final weeks of the 2016 campaign there was barely a mention of Trumps admitted sexual assaults ?

I don't recall the Democrats or media going after any of Trumps family in either election even though they were all variously vulnerable for corruption drugs nepotism etc.

The guys that wrote the story refused to put their names on it. They didn't believe it to be legitimate.

Fox News made a big deal about it till they had the evidence at which time they ran away from the story as fast as they could. Fox didn't believe it either.

It was never the left shutting it down that made any difference the story stopped because the right shut it down.

Nostradamus you ain't.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So now you agree that paragraph 24 does not say  "it has now “authenticated” the laptop and its contents."

That was the point that you immediately diverted away from after all. (this was the basic mistruth you argument centred around).
