Australia has taken sides with the Ukraine. If Russia sees $50 million in aid to Ukraine strategically significant, then so be it. But, they are not going to spend $80 million on launching a nuke anywhere in Australia. Surely, you could see that anything less than sending military intervention to Russia, the Russian government would not find Australia a considerable threat.

With the resources Russia has at their disposal, perhaps the West and the United States would love to see Russia collapse to a point where the Russians are willing to negotiate to dig their way out of a near economic black hole. That was how it was in Iraq from 2003 onwards.

China had its bluff called. The economic sanctions that China placed on Australia actually backfired on them. Australia could find new markets to export our sanctioned goods. But China could not find alternative import markets. In fact, Australians had done what little we could to not buy Chinese made products. Australia is winning that argument.

It is really depressing that you think world governments have people so willing to launch weapons that turn not only cities to ash and rubble, but people to ash and bone. It is not that simple to launch such weapons without considerable thought. You sound like a Chinese appeaser. Are you worried that the Chinese are going to refocus on the United States and place sanctions there? Are you not in debt to the Chinese some trillions?
