It's funny how both Monk and Ayn (both gay men) think any issues taken with anything about the trans or gay community by straight men is a sign of some secret attraction.
As I've said many times, I've worked with loads of hommers in the media arts and ent industry. A couple of gay dudes I worked with once explained (this is the opinion of a few gays, not everyone) that gay men who struggled with their sexual orientation tend to think that all men are repressing same sex attraction, that's because it was their experience and they think it applies to everyone.
The gay dudes who told me that said they knew they were gay from day dot and never hid it, and they just accept some people aren't into it.
I reckon both Ayn and Monk grew up struggling with their sexual identities, and probably rooted a few trannies and think that all men struggle with their sexual identities.
I don't give a crap who puts what in whom, but I do have issues with the politics around it, and saying a guy who is clearly a guy, and letting him swim as a woman, that is politics.
Dear Gordon,
do not forget Sodom and Gomorrah -
Leviticus 20:13 KJVIf a man also lie with mankind,
as he lieth with a woman,
both of them have committed an abomination:
they shall surely be put to death;
their blood shall be upon them.
