Most, if not all, just want to be left to live their lives in peace, without bigots thinking they should have the right to tell them where to pee or which sports they can play. They are not a threat to your wives or kids either, as some stupidly believe.

Also, for those who've still failed to nut it out for themselves - being trans has NOTHING to do with right or left/communist or capitalist. Trans people have existed since long before organised politics was even a 'thing'. Once again, though, we have the conservative religious Right - mainly from the USA, but also finding support here - trying to dictate how others should live. And since they (rightly) lost the gay marriage battle, they now pick on trans people instead.

The push backs would not have even been happening if what you stated was true.

No one is telling them what type of sport they can play ......... what they're being told is they, as biological males have an unfair advantage & should have no place in participation in sports playing against biological women.

And it's the exact opposite about who wants to dictate how they should live...because that's what they are doing.

They aren't telling anyone how to live - what they ARE doing is demanding that same right from those who think they shouldn't have it.

Oh, btw - do a bit of research on the effects of female hormone therapy on males (it reduces both bone and muscle mass to that of an equivalent biological woman, among other things). While you're at it, you might like to look up just how much testosterone there ISN'T in the body of a post-op trans woman.

Also - trans men play sports with and against biological men, but the bigots are mostly silent. Why is that, I wonder?

Unions now want special 30 day leave for 'transitioning' - because they do not want to use sick leave as that would 'medicalise' this freakery. Soon it will be subject to NDIS payment if someone looks at a tranny askance and say tsk, tsk Roll Eyes

I don't expect to play in women's graded sports, or use women's toilets, or be placed in a women's prison etc.... I played First Grade Rugby, lad, and once against Nu Zulland... copped a hiding and a broken shoulder... them Maori... Jeez ....

Demanding to play in women's sports etc is NOT the same as just asking to be treated like everyone else - it's demanding to be treated UNLIKE everyone else.... FFS, Smith....
