Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews has tested positive to COVID-19.
Key points:

    Mr Andrews will step down from his duties until at least next Monday, April 4
    His deputy, James Merlino, will act in his role during that time
    The premier and his family attended the Hamilton musical in Melbourne on Thursday night

The Premier released a statement on Monday saying he had received his results on a rapid antigen test and had "mild symptoms", including a sore throat and temperature.

Mr Andrews said he would now isolate for seven days.

"So far, Cath and the kids have tested negative. As they are close contacts, they will also isolate for the next seven days," he said.

Deputy Premier James Merlino will step in as Acting Premier until at least next Monday.

On Thursday evening Mr Andrews and his family attended the premiere of the musical Hamilton at Her Majesty's Theatre in Melbourne.

Ha! You think? My hubby is STILL in the Lisa Jones Private Hospital here at home and he's loving it. I'm his totally unvaccinated slave and he's the triple jabbed King.

* We have great neighbours who can't get over my continuous negative readings and his continuous positive readings and they're giving me a lot of emotional support because they can see I'm exhausted from playing nurse/carer.

Edit : My filthy rich Communist Chinese next door neighbours had a bit of a laugh when they saw me this morning picking herbs and chokos from the garden and started chatting to me about how the family was going. So I gave them the update after which I stated : his triple jabbed status has probably helped me and the kids to stay negative all this time. So I'm thinking maybe those who are triple jabbed have helped those of us who are unvaccinated.

Their response? Lis a far more deadlier version is coming. Our relatives in China have quietly told us that this new one is different and is like this: No symptoms at all then you suddenly die quickly.

I politely thanked them for the info but I don't know whether to believe them. I hope it's not true 😔

Clive Palmer is Obese and old he is unvaxxed ended up in hospital refused to go on ventilator got his doctor to prescribe Ivermectin and HCQ. He recovered and went home.

I wish i had a dollar for all the time the pro vaxxers said vax will stop you getting Kung Flu.

There were 2 groups up to August last year. All the pro vaxxers were saying vax stops you catching covid and stops you transmitting it which is why we had vax mandates and fired people who refused the vax.

We had a tiny minority of experts Like Geert Vanden Bossche who said non sterilising vaccines cannot stop you catching or spreading this virus. These experts didn't get any coverage in MSM they were banned from Twitter, Facebook, Google and Youtube and branded anti vaxxers. It turns out they were right all along.
