A pet dog or cat brings a little bit of dirt into your life. Your immune system has to cope with that and becomes stronger as a consequence.

Cat and dog dirt has nothing to do with Covid - you moron.

Yes, Bobby... the Covid pandemic rages on but as far as the pollies and big business is concerned it is all over.

But, with winter almost here and worrying new variants on the way it looks like things will be getting a lot worse before they get better.

Australia is still averaging 30 Covid deaths a day but it's almost impossible to find any mention of these deaths in the media anymore.

Some even want to do away with reporting Covid deaths altogether

Quote:
"Incredible success"

Which alternate reality are they living in?

Quote:
He received support from former chief medical officer Dr Nick Coatsworth

Ah, yes, the "doctor" who has been consistently wrong with just about everything he's said since the start of the pandemic.

Our own right wing rag The West Australian doesn't mention Covid at all until page 18 today (after all the usual Harvey Norman and Domayne ads, of course) and there's no mention whatsoever of the daily deaths (which will total 10,000 a year if things keep going the way they are at the moment).

We're all being deceived to the max about how dangerous Covid still is by our pollies... trouble is... the majority of the people seem to be falling for it.

Disgraceful.

Latest news ABC 24.

The Govt. will hide the death numbers during the election campaign.

rising numbers of infections but very few in hospital ?

i think we should fall to our knees in gratitude, recognise that this is a mild virus, stop testing for it, stop having vaccinations for most people (they dont stop the spread)

and stop spending

But we are still saddled with over $300 billion in debt
from all the money printed by ScoMo for his Covid payments.

Why do you worry so much about that debt?

Anyway, Palmer has the solution.

They should have paid zero out - it was up to Dirty Dan to cover his crazy lockdowns.
ScoMo supported hysterical rubbish.
99% of people who died would have died anyway - they were so old and frail that
just a cold would have killed them.
Just falling over on to carpet would have killed them.
It was all hysterical panic - the whole state closed for 1 case as though it was the black death.

BTW - deficits are locked in for the next 10 years by Frydenberg -
so they will print more money every year.
Labor will do the same.
Get the printing presses going ....

Can you explain to me why you think the deficit is such a bad thing?

I think ScoMo is a worthless POS and all that, but I just want to see your reasoning behind your objection to a national deficit.

vaccination against deadly delta...good idea.

having a 4th vax against "omni-cold"....bad idea.

too many vaccines can decrease your immune response
the vaccines dont stop the spread
and omni-cold is so mild, most people need a hanky and a panadol.

today in the UK 3.4 million people have omnicron b2
thats 1 in 12 people rat positive.

and yet life and 'human flourishing" are not being restricted.

what more evidence do we need that omicron is not a significant problem.

stop polluting the environment with tons of extra rubbish

The emissions generated by the UK’s Personal Protective Equipment supply are equivalent to 850,000 transatlantic flights.

The New Statesman estimates that 12 billion items of PPE were purchased by the NHS between March and May 2020. This figure was reached by analysing the PPE purchasing data listed by the four national healthcare providers over that period, with the data for England had to be adjusted to cover the same timeframe as that of the others.

so selfish of the older generation to not consider Greta

Sorry Booby, that just tells me you don't like the deficit.

We've already established that fact.

What I'm asking for is a reasoned argument on why you fear the deficit so much.

No, it's not.

I accept your white flag though.
