I wonder what his wife would think if she saw his 'homo-erotic stalking' posts after you? Grin

she'd agree goober is gay. She asks as to why you are trying to so hard to impress him? At the moment the votes are split between you being a closet gay or perhaps it's just time to find a new couch to sleep on!

All I said was "Bobby likes watching half-naked men bash each other in the ring".

What part of that statement is incorrect?

Since the year 2000 there have been 33 deaths, six of whom came from the US, the most recent of these being Patrick Day in October 2019. Just like Bowen, Day was also aged 27 and was knocked down three times in his fight with compatriot Charles Conwell...

Regardless of our difference in numbers, it would appear that you're perfectly
happy that "only" 33 boxers have been killed in the ring?  Can I ask you what
you consider an acceptable number of boxing deaths—three, 13, 33, 73?  More?
Less?

(My figure of 112 includes deaths of amateur boxers, and is drawn from
Death Under the Spotlight:  The Manuel Velazquez Collection, complied
by Joseph R. Svinth.)

Any death in the ring—in my opinion—is an unwarranted, indefensible act
perpetrated for the mindless enjoyment of an uncouth audience of slobbering
gamblers.  Who ultimately don't give a bleedin' bugger if a boxer is killed.  It's
all about the money, and the little value the so-called "sport" places on another
human being's life.

Money?   During the 1990s, boxing cards brought an extra US$15 million a week
in business into Donald Trump’s casinos, and almost US$2 million a week in profits.

Gee Ausgeoff. Would you prefer it happening in the alleyways - or in a 'controlled' environment.
Take a look at these women letting the blood splatter everywhere. At least the losing girl had someone to stop it at some point...

Nope, of course I wouldn't "prefer" killer fights to be happening in
alleyways. Just as I believe it shouldn't be happening in a boxing
ring.  What's the difference?  Both scenarios can result in the death
of a fighter.  If it happens in the boxing ring, it's somehow seen as
a "legitimate" fight—which of course is nonsensical.  There's nothing
legitimate about killing someone, wherever they happen to be.

And your link to the fighting women is nothing more than a straw man;
it has nothing to do with the topic of boxing deaths.

It's a ridiculous "sport".

It's one of the things that makes me shake my head in disbelief at the human race.

Sad
