That's true, dear. People might actually take a shine to a prez demanding a Secretary of State find him 12,000 more votes.

People might find a prez sending an armed mob in to bust up the House of Reps and lynch his VP endearing. Or one who sexually assaults gossip columnists in department store dressing rooms. Or knocks off 12,000 boxes of top secret documents and refuses to give them back.

Mr Trump certainly has the likability factor, no?

But one thing we know: he'd never spill a glass of water. Some might get on his $800 silk tie.

Oh, you can try to get them dry-cleaned, but they never come out the same, no?

Okay... all jokes aside.

Trump is actually exhibiting four of the signs of Parkinson's
disease:  A forward-leaning position when standing still; a slow,
shuffling walk with very small steps; changes in verbal fluency;
difficulties holding drinking glasses and cutlery.

I've also noted that he invariably leans to his left when standing
at a podium, and rests his arm on the podium itself, whilst using
his right hand to gesticulate.  I'm guessing this is to unconsciously
correct his posture, possibly due to his Parkinson's.

This report makes for interesting reading about Trump's apparent
balance and gait issues:

President Trump’s "body tics" and "forward-leaning posture"
     raise concerns: expert
.

At the wreath, Trump has to grasp his right hand with his left in
order to restrain his right arm's involuntary movement due to his
Parkinson's, and a little later actually appears to almost lose his
balance.  And of course, his arms should be straight at his sides,
with fists clenched.     Very embarrassing.

Either that, or he's used to using his right hand to salute - to Vlad.

Apparently they teach it in the KGB:

Quote:
“When moving, it is absolutely necessary to keep your weapon against the chest or in the right hand. Moving forward should be done with one side, usually the left, turned somewhat in the direction of movement.”

Assuming the very real likelihood of Trump being officially
diagnosed with Parkinson's there is no way he should be
allowed by the GOP to run as a POTUS candidate next year.

The Republicans need to find a younger, more intelligent, and
more articulate candidate—and one who is in good health.

Do we really need the trembling hand of another unhealthy
old man, with Parkinson's, hovering over the red button?

I sincerely think not.      Angry

Now now, Geoff, Mr Trump never used the N word. Never ever.

Okay,  he may have mentioned it once, but he thinks he got away with it.

It was only Tucker. Besides, he meant Ukraine, not Russia. Nobody's been tougher on Russia than the big fella, believe me.

He'll have Ukraine sorted in his first 24 hours as prez, you'll see.

firstly, russia never invaded til biden got in, so dont blame trump.

secondly 12/12 ago , ukraine were willing to negotiate with vlad and probably would have given away a bit of land in the east , but the leftie intellectuals in the USA told zalensky  "no aid unless you continue to fight"  trump would have encouraged a deal, saving millions of lives.

thirdly, biden is beholden to the military industrial complex and has poured 350 billion into ukraine (a lot of which has been grifted by an incredibly corrupt ukraine) fi you want evidnece for that, the uber left washington post did an article in 2016 on how the ukraine was possibly more corrupt then russia.

fourthly . ukraine has sacrificied all its young men and is currently using "press gangs " to find men to send to the meat grinder.

fifthly russia will win beacuse ukraine is 1/10 its size and now has virtually no electricity , even if it wanted to ramp up arms production .

all in all, the leftie intellectuals have cost the ukrainian people their country.

trump would have gone to kiev, negotiated to give the donbas to russia (they are going to get it anyway) and then had a round of golf with vlad and rocket boy and kept world peace.

the leftie intellectuals may trigger a nuclear war (this is certainly possible) and either way ukraine would have been way way way way better off to negotiate with russia 12/12 ago then see their country destroyed and lose anyway.

why are the left so stupid (or is that naive to not understand this war is being fought for the benefit of raytheon)  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

Now let's see. We'll go through your points one by one, shall we?

1. Russia invaded Ukraine, a peaceful neighbour.

2. Ukraine committed to defending their territory. Macron tried to mediate a deal. Zalensky said no deal until Russia removes all troops from Ukraine. Russia responded with attacks on apartment blocks, hospitals and power stations.

3. Biden offered military aid to Ukraine. He was joined by NATO, the UK, Germany, France, Poland and even jolly old Oz. Nearly every country in the world supports Ukraine. China and India are on the fence. The outliers are few: the leaders of countries like Hungary and Georgia are not supported by their populations on this issue.

4. Ukrainians are volunteering to enlist. Polls show overwhelming support for repelling Russia from Ukraine. It's now nearly 100%. Ukraine has few pro-Russians left.

5. Russia can't possibly win. This is the view of every report commissioned by the EU, the IMF and NATO. The current Russian strategy is to defend its seized (and emptied) Ukrainian territory in the vain hope of a Trump victory in 2025.

Yes, Putin has his hopes set on a US withdrawal from NATO and a weakened Western alliance. This is why Putin aided Trump's 2016 campaign. Leaked Russian cabinet reports described Trump as weak and mentally unstable. These reports proved remarkably accurate: Trump weakened the Western alliance to the extent that Putin believed there would be no Western reaction to a Ukrainian invasion.

Biden's response, by contrast, was pivotal. Biden united the West in defence of Ukraine. That's the difference between the two: Biden acts in defence of national sovereignty and a peaceful, rules-based international order.

Your Dear Leader acts to strengthen a kleptocratic tyranny that conducts cyber attacks on the US government and interferes in US elections. That's a stark choice for the American voters, should it come down to that.

Your five points prove what we've seen over the past decade. Your judgement nearly always proves to be the opposite of the facts presented. That's a weighty track record, dear, and one we can consistently rely upon.

Good work.

Mark Milley, chairman of the joint chiefs of staff, told reporters at the US Ramstein Air Base that he did not believe it was realistic to expect Ukraine to push Russian troops out of its internationally recognised territory. 'From a military standpoint, I still maintain that from this year it would be very, very difficult to militarily eject Russian forces from every inch of Russian-occupied Ukraine
