It would be safer to eat from Maccas than a Chinese takeaway shop.

You have to know the Chinese shops before you can trust them.
I once lived near an Asian part of Melbourne and
I got food poisoning 5 times in the space of 3 years from the takeaway shops there.
Once I went behind some shops there
and I saw restaurant meat being thawed out in the hot sun in a back alley way.
There were stray cats sniffing around it.
Most of those Asians have no idea about food hygiene.
I don't know how they get a license?

Yes i have been sick a few times from Chinese takeaway shops, when those stomach cramps start coming on its a worry. I get mildly ill from Maccas every time but at least its consistent.

Just like Maccas:

“Basically, we’re taking a product that would be sold in the cheapest way
for dogs, and after this process, is being given to human beings.”

That's better than cockroaches and bats etc cooked out the back.

There was talk back in 70s and 80s of stray cats and dogs ending up
as meat for the Chinese takeaway shops.
I don't know if it was true or not?

Of course its true but they don't stop there, rats as well.

At least Maccas has some sort of quality control.

The Chinese survived great famines back in China so
they knew what to do when there was a food shortage.

They used to put a lot of monosodium glutamate in their food to cover up tastes but that was banned.

The old big mac is currently about 50% more healthy than it was originally. It is about half the size it was in the beginning.

Anyone remember when a big mac looked like the product in the pictures ?

Good that you don’t like Maccas, Agnes. Do take a bit of care with the MSG—a little in some Chinese dishes is fine, don’t overdo it tho.

Big Macs are healthier now than they were 20-something years ago due to the health regulations of today. If you want a Big Mac back in the 1990s, they would have one already prepared waiting in the warmer. These days, you have to wait the 2 minutes for the burger to be freshly prepared.

As for size of the Big Macs, they have always looked the same size to me. Are you talking about pre-1990s Big Macs from McDonalds?
