I remember your post where you called Larry “POISON” and whinged about all the phone calls and emails you have to answer every day. Of course, you were weak enough to let the exploitative relationship continue. That has to have boosted the drinking, eh?

OTOH I used to drink a fair bit, good wine and beer but too much. That was when the pain from the arthritic hip was so strong, so bad and alcohol does kill pain.

Arthritis in a load bearing joint like a hip really sucks. On a good day, no actual pain, there is still a niggle coming from that hip: there is no waking moment when you do not know that you have arthritis. That is so immensely tiring, only people that have been through it understand.

Now, if you were a christian you might have realised some of that, but you are not a christian. You are a weak and stupid plonker, no charity in your heart, just a drive to find someone weak you could bully. Unfortunately for you you chose me. Bad choice.

You are still lying about the amount but we have moved a bit closer to the truth.

Do you open a bottle on Friday and finish it by Sunday night? That sounds reasonable but I think you drink more than that!

How long does it take you to finish a cask, say 5L wine? A week is my guess.

A bottle a weekend would be more like it. 2–3 bottles a week even more likely. Being in an exploitative relationship would no doubt boost the drinking. You can block mobile phone numbers, you can block emails. There is hope BUT you have to be brave and take those steps.
