An Australian McDonald’s worker’s disgusting act has gone viral after
being caught on camera drying a mop head underneath a French fry warmer.

A staff member from the fast-food chain’s Booval outlet, 30km southwest of Brisbane,
was filmed holding a detachable microfibre mop head underneath a heat lamp directly
above some fries that were ready to be served to a customer.

Daily Mail Australia reports that management spoke to the staff member;
however, further action has not been taken.

For hard-surface cleaning, McDonald's is using ECOLAB® Peroxide Multi Surface Cleaner and Disinfectant which sterilises mops before cooking in 4D grade Diesel.
