One example, Greg Kovacs: the heaviest body builder at 190kg

Who died at the age of 44 from a heart attack most likely caused by taking steroids -
which is another subject altogether.

https://t-nation.com/t/why-i-quit-using-steroids/283462

In fact, I’d stopped training Greg Kovacs and dropped him as a client because
of his insane, uncontrollable drug abuse.
Mentioning these two guys is important because it points out that they were
projecting onto me their fears of “getting small.”

Yes, I did notice that fact about Kovacs being dead at age 44. High testosterone levels would have meant that Kovac's estrogen levels would have gone up to compensate and bring down the testosterone to manageable levels. I don't know the theory behind it, but having high testosterone would have put a strain on Kovac's heart and other organs to a point that Kovac's heart just stopped working.

I was using Kovac as an example of someone who could be heavy but look muscular.

I recall when I was daring enough to sleep with a bodybuilder's girlfriend. Okay, it was back in the days when I was younger, better looking and fitter. The girlfriend decided to cheat on her fiance, and hooked up with me. Let us just say that this girl either was inexperienced with sex -- which seems unusual for a fitness model. Or her bodybuilder boyfriend had penile atrophy. Whatever the case, this 20-something-year-old lady bent me a few times that night during her orgasms. Madonna's song "Like a virgin" generally triggers memories of that night.

heres the guy you were holding up as a paragon of good health

f_ckin dead at 44 years old from shooting roids in his ass (which is the only way he got to look the way he did and have the body composition he did - had very little to do with whether he was eating red salmon over pizza hut)

I would suggest that if Kovacs did not use steroids, but was just as fanatical about his body building, he would definitely look less muscular. However, Kovacs would still be heavy muscular. Kovacs might have been a 150kg muscular man, instead of a 190kg roided muscular man.

You did miss the point why I used him as an example.

One dead in multistate E. coli outbreak tied to McDonald’s Quarter Pounders, CDC says

...

The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention issued a food safety alert Tuesday regarding an E. coli outbreak that it says is linked with McDonald’s Quarter Pounders.

At least 49 illnesses have been reported across 10 states, including one death of an older person.
Ten people have been hospitalized,

including a child who had hemolytic uremic syndrome, a serious complication that can develop from an E. coli infection. Most of the illnesses are in Colorado and Nebraska.

Most of the people who became ill reported eating McDonald’s Quarter Pounder sandwiches, the CDC says.

McDonald’s said in a statement that the initial investigation findings linked the onions to “a single supplier that serves three distribution centers.”

“We are working in close partnership with our suppliers to replenish supply for the Quarter Pounder in the coming weeks (timing will vary by local market),” it said. “In the meantime, all other menu items, including other beef products (including the Cheeseburger, Hamburger, Big Mac, McDouble and the Double Cheeseburger) are unaffected and available.”

According to the FDA, McDonald’s has removed the slivered onions and quarter-pound patties from stores in Colorado, Kansas, Utah, Wyoming and portions of Idaho, Iowa, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico and Oklahoma. In other states, Quarter Pounder burgers may not be available.

However, the CDC also notes that the outbreak may go beyond those states.

People with E. coli infections may have symptoms including severe stomach cramps, diarrhea, fever and vomiting. Symptoms of infection usually begin three or four days after swallowing the bacteria. Although most people who become ill recover without treatment within a week, others can develop serious kidney problems and require hospitalization.

Anyone who becomes ill after eating a McDonald’s Quarter Pounder should get medical attention and tell the provider what they ate, the CDC says.

McDonald’s said in its statement that “serving customers safely in every single restaurant, each and every day, is our top priority” and that it will continue working with the CDC on the investigation.

McDonald’s stock price dropped precipitously in after-hours trading as news of the outbreak broke.

maccas is pretty safe in the short term

1 dead from e coli

thats not a high body count

the high body count is from the public health catastrophe

heart attack stroke cancer diabetes and kidney failure are amongst our biggest killers

and the mcdonalds diet is a major contibutor to all of them

go get a lettuce amd a carrot and a mandarin and sit down in a maccas and set a good example

my wifes hospital had a lady in with scurvy last week

SCURVY!!

she NEVER ate fruit

a disease that killed hundreds of sailors and she gets it when fruit and veges are available in unlimited ammounts

but, if you drink coca cola and donuts , then fruit tastes like crap.

you have wrecked your taste receptors for sweet

fruit doesnt even taste sweet

give up the sugary crap and fruit will taste good again

but go wreck your mouth at maccas and you wont want it

and you too can get scurvy and nearly die

There are several outbreaks of deaths from E Coli in food every year in the USA.

The most recent fast food E coli incident was Taco Bell.

Then there's Boar's head which was a persistent outbreak.

One has to wonder whether perpetrators in the US are contaminating food.

They pay workers only about US$7.50 an hour so they basically employ halfwits
who have no idea about hygiene.   Roll Eyes

Let me "five-eighth" this thing.

Trump went to a McDonalds as a promotional stunt for his presidential campaign. As a presidential nominee, he got to work at the drive-thru. Would you think that would be a bad idea to do that, being that any of the customers could have just shot the man, and then drove off? Not if you are vetting the customers who drive up to the window.

Secret service agents would have taken note of who was driving up to the window. Number plates. Facial recognition scans. Fingerprint scanning the driver and passengers of those potential Republican voters whom are lining up to get served by the president. Sound ironic, right? And with those precautions comes a team of counter terrorists who stand about 800 metres in any part around that McDonalds restaurant.

Imagine in the next week, people will flock to see where the "next president of the United States worked". Imagine how hygienically clean that restaurant will be. Imagine that the store would be overwhelmed with customers for a month afterwards.

I walked into the Red Rooster restaurant, the evening after the Nth Qld Cowboys played a game in Rockhampton. There was an NRL player ordering a large order for him and his team mates. I week later, the store was very busy for a George Street address. I have never seen such an immaculately clean store, despite the high revenue sales.

The effect of having celebrities visit your store/franchise is powerful in bringing about positive changes.

For me, if I eat once a month at any fast food restaurant, it is good for my mental health. Once a week is too much.

Thomas A. Edison said as early as in 1931, “I’d put my money on the sun and solar energy. What a source of power! I hope we don’t have to wait until oil and coal run out before we tackle that.”
