Fast-Food Diet May Cause ‘Irreversible’ Brain Damage

...

The authors of a new study suggest you may begin to lose neurons and neuron function early in life if you eat poorly, and such changes may be difficult, if not impossible, to counteract once the damage is done.

Story at a glance:

People today are consuming about 650 kilocalories more daily than they were in the 1970s, an amount equivalent to a fast-food meal consisting of a burger, fries and soft drink.
Poor diet and lack of activity may lead to “normal” but elevated blood glucose levels, even in people without Type 2 diabetes, contributing to neurodegenerative processes.
“High normal” blood sugar levels may progress to impaired fasting glucose and, eventually, Type 2 diabetes; impaired glucose metabolism is then associated with neurodegeneration that impairs cognitive function.
The authors of the featured study suggested that you may begin to lose neurons and neuron function early in life if you eat poorly, and such changes may be difficult, if not impossible, to counteract once the damage is done; the sooner you start focusing your diet on whole, unprocessed foods, the better.

Eating fast food — the epitome of highly processed “fake” foods — can have lasting ramifications on your brain health, so much so that researchers at Australian National University suggested you can cause “irreversible” damage by the time you reach middle age, just by eating a fast-food diet and not staying active.

Its impossible to say why it is so destructive- I used to work at Hungry Jacks and there is nothing there thats looks out of the ordinary when it comes as an ingredient on its own-

So I guess it has to be the amount and these pple eat it all the time- that must be the thing that makes it so destructive to them!    OMG brain damage is horrible !

It's proven now -

fast food is not fit for human consumption.

I do not believe that the occasional hamburger is going to kill anyone, but a steady diet of meat, white bread, and coca cola might. You don't have to be a sensitive new age diet freak to know that. But what pisses me off about McDonalds is the way they market their "food" to children. Look at the happy clown! He's so friendly! Lets go play on the slide. Ruin their taste buds for more complex flavours with heavy doses of salt, fat, and sugar. American/Anglo/Australian cuisine, the worst of all worlds But never mind, there's always Ronald McDonald House for children with neurological problems.

Big food in conjunction with big pharma in conjunction with big health

Have no interest in your health

The fatter you are
The more diseases you have
The more coin they make

What I object to is government agencies going along with this crap
And
For instance
The American food and drug administration recommending processed breakfast cereals over eggs

And Cheerios over fresh meat

It is incredibly profitable to sell people processed carbohydrates
And processed soy protein

It is catastrophic for their health
But making things like the cow the subject of a smear campaign
Saying that it causes global warming for god sake
Organising no meat Mondays and Fridays at public schools in democratic states in America
To virtue signal about saving the planet
Whilst filling kids up on process carbohydrates
Is close to an act of genocide

I had a Red Rooster "Triple Rippa Roll" combo meal last night. It turned out that I felt the roll was more nutritious than other rolls and burgers. I realise that it had plenty of fat and salt in the roll. Perhaps it was because I was starving and had to get a quick meal before I crashed. But, it was the large chips and Coca Cola I had after the roll that probably did me no favours.

The Big Mac meal I had the other week was just something I wanted to have after not eating one of those in over a year. Sure, I have been to Red Rooster getting those half combo meals and sides added each week for over a year -- and I am sick of the chicken. But, going back to McDonalds for the first time in a long time, I was not impressed by the quality or taste of the meal. The only upside to that night was that I received a half price meal because I waited 10 minutes to be served.

When you eat poor nutrition like McDonalds, all you do is make yourself hungry again sooner, even though you are still digesting a meal from hours ago. If you prepare healthy meals with low salt, low sugar and low fat, your body might crave salt, sugar and fat. But, over time, your body adjusts its metabolism so that you need to eat less and expend energy efficiently. McDonalds meals promote the opposite effect.

it wont be bobby.

governments like people to be sloppy individuals. it makes them easier to control.
big food likes people to be sloppy individuals, they consume more of the product.
big pharma loves people to be sloppy individuals, they chew more drugs .
big tech loves people to be sloppy individuals, they watch more tiktok and porn.

imagine if everyone followed aquas advice and bounced out of bed, determined to take personal responsibility and to mix in nature and shun the chode pleasures.

that would be catastrophic for the big corporations and their bottom line.

just realise that they want you as a battery in their mattrix.

the people at the top think the average chode is a total joke.
they think its hilarious they can get 8 bucks for a big mac which is dumbed down garbage
they think its hilarious they can get 2 bucks for some fizzy sugar water.
chodes are a joke to them
the joke, however , is on the chode

Indeed.

Check out the brain damage on this lot:

They're all batshit crazy, but the swaying woman at 1 min 50 secs is positively scary.
