During the riots, you would get away with killing someone running them over whilst you were fleeing the scene of immense danger. Otherwise, you would be best to avoid the area.

There was a stunt years ago where the aboriginal people would stand in the middle of the road waiting to get run over. When the hit happens, the aboriginals would call in their friends (mainly from Woorabinda) and riot through the mall and around the town a few days later. The police would be overwhelmed with trouble to the point that they would have to ignore what was going on with what's right in front of them and go to priority calls.

The number of people that wanted to set up vigilante groups made such an impact on social media, that Facebook was making threats to shut down certain crime watch pages for Rockhampton.

There is plenty of talk on various crime watch pages with video footage showing indigenous people breaking into businesses just to grab about $50 worth of soft drinks from a takeaway store. $500 worth of damage just to get to some soft drinks. Them checking on cars, again right in front of video cameras. They have no clue about surveillance. Just petty theft and stealing cars, simply because the police cannot be bothered chasing after them. Not that I blame the police.

Perhaps you have not been paying attention. If we do that, then they will have mates that will call their mates that will call their mates to converge on Rockhampton. We have been through enough rioting 16 years ago to know that these particular people do not have a sense of shame about their antisocial behaviour.

You are not one to understand the psychology of culture, are you, walker? If the spearing in the leg was conducted by someone who is aboriginal, there would still be a riot erupting among the indigenous youths as well as the adults who think that they have special rights over other Australians. There is also the legality issue where grievous bodily harm would lead to charges against the perpetrator. And this form of punishment would be seen by many in the indigenous community as condescending and cultural appropriation in order to have misguided ideas that such a punishment would placate their ethnicity. The punishment would piss the indigenous people off even more. Rockhampton would be in lockdown with roving gangs of indigenous going after anyone who was not indigenous.
