Police arrest teens after aggravated burglary in Toorak

Police arrested four teenage boys with the assistance of Air Wing following an aggravated burglary in Toorak early this morning.

Police have been told unknown offenders forced entry to a house on Vista Grove in Toorak just after 6am.

Once inside they stole car keys and a grey 2021 Mercedes sedan.

The offenders fled the scene in the stolen Mercedes and the vehicle was followed by police and Airwing.

Stop sticks were deployed before the offenders dumped the stolen car on the corner of Huntingdale Road and Oak Park Drive in Mount Waverley about 8.30am.

Police with the assistance of the Airwing arrested four males nearby.

Stonnington Crime Investigation Unit detectives are investigating and four boys from Mornington, Mooroopna and Seaford are currently in custody.

I've written heaps over the years, and 99% of the time I got hostile answers in return, even about some compensation for my two years military conscription, we got nothing. It was from the minister of Veterans Affairs Bruce Scott's male secretary in 1998. it was the most degrading, humiliating and spiteful answer that one could expect from only a Liberal government, and in subsequent years, the Labor party hasn't done any better than the spiteful and malignant Liberals. I still have that letter from that prick of a minister's secretary. Ministers' don't answer your letters, their sycophant secretaries do

Answers about immigration were also met with the same hostile humiliating fate, not an ounce of decency in their answers, just mongrel self interest bastardry

Actually the problem stems from the current entrenched neoclassical orthodoxy which demands permanent government 'austerity', based on the mad assertion that currency-issuing governments face the same monetary constraints as households.

Explore heterodox economics, the only way out of the present impasse.

[and yes, Oz doesn't need more immigrants, it needs to properly train its own population (except for maybe a few specialists not available in Oz)].

No - I don't write to ministers -
it's a waste of time.
Once they're elected they do whatever they want.

The politicians know that we don't want hoards of Africans here but they allow it anyway.
It's what passes for a democracy in Australia.
I only vote because it's compulsory and then not for any main party -
they are all corrupt and in some sense they're traitors.

Employers need to train and keep their employees.
They won't do it if they can employ some Indian for half the normal pay
to come out here and try to do the job.
You'll find that a lot of those workers from the subcontinent
can't do what they say they can do and only last less than 6 months in a job
before they're fired -
and then the cycle repeats itself.
