For all of those still thinking Monkeypox is just a "gay" disease.

Deliberate government deception (including our own governments) by trying to make people believe there's nothing to worry about (unless you're homosexual, of course) is going to get a lot of people sick, disfigured and killed.

But then that isn't really surprising when you look at how they've (mis)handled Covid.

When there was a Covid surge in India last April, Australia slammed its borders shut, stranding travellers and separating families.

Over the summer, Novak Djokovic was ingloriously evicted from our country and the misnamed Australian Open for refusing a jab whose benefits were immaterial for young elite athletes.

Excuse the pun, but the media was all over those stories like a rash.

Now Monkey pox has been declared a ‘global health emergency’ by the World Health Organisation. States of emergency have been declared in New York, California, and Illinois, where case spikes have conspicuously followed ‘pride month’ celebrations. Having recorded over 40 cases, Australia has likewise declared a ‘communicable disease incident of national significance’ over the virus.

Where are the Australian journalists who are willing to raise questions over WorldPride 2023, an event affectionately nicknamed the ‘Gay Olympics’ and scheduled for February and March in Sydney?

This is an unforgivable omission. As reported by the Sydney Morning Herald, the best explanation for this year’s explosion of cases traces the epidemic back to LGBTQ+ raves in Belgium and Spain. These included the Darklands fetish festival in Antwerp and a Pride event in the Canary Islands that drew 80,000 people.

World Pride 2023’ is just around the corner. Gay men from all over the world have been invited to Sydney for it.

In the meantime, to avert a Monkey pox epidemic in Australia, common sense suggests that one of three things is required: the disappearance of Monkey pox; the repudiation of promiscuity in the gay community; or the cancellation of ‘World Pride’.

Which will it be? And again, where is our public-health-obsessed media on this issue?

Oh, I was speaking to a friend of mine and his wife at Belmont Forum yesterday morning and part of our conversation went something like this:

Him: "You know this Monkeypox we've been hearing about?"

Me: "Yes".

Him: "You know you can't catch it, don't you?"

Me: "Who can't catch it?"

Him: "You, me, my wife, anyone who isn't a homosexual can't get it".

I then spent the next few minutes trying to explain why that isn't true, I think he believed me - not too sure.

Sadly, this is what the majority of people seem to believe at the moment due to the non existent health advice from our Federal and State governments - just like with COVID-19.

And, while I was there I happened to notice that there probably wasn't more than 5% of people in the shopping centre wearing masks at the time (because they've been told the Covid pandemic is over and Monkeypox isn't an issue because it's just a STD for homosexuals).

No wonder we are in the mess we're in right now.

Oh, my friend also said he heard that Monkeypox was only a homosexual disease and no-one else needed to worry from SBS which surprised me until I remembered SBS is owned by the Australian Government.
