Blind multiculturalism excuses its devotees from asking any questions about other cultures.
Questions like how did covid start in China?  How did it spread to the world?
How did monkeypox start in Africa? What DO Africans do to monkeys to catch it?

And instead of asking such questions and keeping the Chinese and the Africans out until the question is answered satisfactorily, they want you to ask no questions, keep no-one out - until it is time to keep YOU in lock-down, out of circulation.

How (not) surprising to see Donald Trump in this.  Roll Eyes

Debunked: Anti-Vaxxers claim mpox outbreak is a ‘scandemic’

Quote:
Conspiracy theorists are branding the recent mpox outbreak a “scamdemic” in a recent social media wave of misinformation.

A public health emergency was declared by the World Health Organisation over the outbreak in several African nations, with at least three cases now reported outside of the continent.

Mpox can spread through skin-to-skin contact, respiratory droplets, and contact with contaminated materials.

Symptoms include a high temperature, headaches and muscle aches.

In Africa, the latest strain, branded clade 1b, has a higher mortality rate which ranges from 4-10% compared to the usual rate of 0-11%.

Bill Gates, along with other Big Pharma companies are being falsely accused of falsifying the outbreak to push vaccines for profit, with some even claiming that Covid vaccines caused mpox symptoms.

Professor Michael Marks from the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine told The Independent: “The vaccination is the most likely component of control. It’s known to be a very safe vaccine, very well tolerated.”

** And pustules all over your face (seems they forgot to mention that - I wonder why?)

I was expecting to see Sir Nail and Bobby in that video too, right after Trump would have been appropriate.  Cheesy

Yes, Bobby. We know.  Roll Eyes

By the way... you might want to think about stocking up on toilet paper while you have the chance.

I'm seeing and hearing rumours that there may be another shortage coming up  Undecided

Not sure at this stage if it's going to be as big as the Great Toilet Paper Panic of 2020 but it may be.  Cheesy

Are we screening overseas arrivals here in Australia yet like we're supposed to be doing after the World Health Organization declared Mpox to be a public health emergency of international concern on August 14th?

Thailand confirms first Asian case of new Mpox strain

Quote:
Thailand has announced its first confirmed case of a new, potentially deadlier strain of Mpox - the first in Asia, and second outside of Africa.

According to Thailand's Department of Disease Control, the infected 66-year-old European man arrived in Bangkok from an unnamed African country on 14 August.

He began displaying symptoms the next day, and immediately went to hospital. It has since been confirmed he had contracted Mpox, and in particular the strain known as Clade 1b.

At least 450 people have died from Mpox in an outbreak centred in the Democratic Repulic of Congo which started last year.

Quote:
It has since spread to a number of nearby countries - including Burundi, Kenya, Rwanda and Uganda, all of which were previously unaffected by Mpox.

Now a more worrying strain of Mpox called Clade 1b has been identified in the east of the DRC, which is being spread along the border and into neighbouring countries.

Sweden was the first place outside of the African continent to confirm a case of Clade 1b a week ago. The infected man had also recently travelled to an unnamed African country, Sweden's public health ministry said at the time.

The infection in Thailand is the first confirmed case of Clade 1b in Asia.

Mpox is transmitted through close contact, such as sex, skin-to-skin contact and talking or breathing close to another person – but it is nowhere near as infectious as other viruses like Covid and measles.

But the spread of the new variant and its high fatality rate in parts of Africa has sparked concern among scientists, and led the World Health Organization (WHO) to declare it a public health emergency of international concern.

By the time our useless "economy first" government wakes up it will be too late... assuming it isn't already here and spreading, of course.
