I certainly think that is a sensible idea.
it's likely that any diseases from the horses would have passed, like you I don't know.
It's unlikely you would get tetanus.
If you did, you'ld about a 10% chance of dying. You'ld likely have some time term detrimental health effects.
It'ld put you off ever gardening again.

So I certainly think it is a sensible idea.
Thanks, I'll book in for my tetanus and whooping cough

Americans now 'swim to Cuba' to escape the Evil Western Medicine scourge of the World.
Cubans lived/live 20 years longer than Americans. What's that tell you about the American 'Health'?

The Colds and Flu's help adapt the body to the change of season (Summer / Winter) extremes.
I get a bit worried if I don't get my yearly dose of Cold & Flu.
It means my immune system hasn't got its 'updated' version.

Too long without a natural immunity boost from a Cold or Flu - means that when I 'do get it' eventually, then KAPOW! It can really knock me back because my immune system has to play 'catchup'.
People who haven't had the Cold & Flu for many many years - well they say at the Funeral "But it was just a simple Cold (or Flu)! He should have been 'vaccinated'. ".
He was, but none of those 'vaccines' can 'cure' a lack of in the first place.

If it was not for the fact that I am studying to work in the hospital system, I would probably not bother with getting the vaccines. The vaccinations are a mandatory requirement. I would not be allowed to go into placement, if my vaccination requirements are not up to date.

Influenza vaccinations are mandatory for me to undergo before I do clinical placement for work integrated learning. But, covid vaccinations are no longer required. I finished submitting the review of all of my mandatory checks today. Get 3 vaccinations of covid before you are placed in industry, the university says last year. But, this skip that requirement for this year.

However, they put a warning highlight against your name, if you are less than 2 months from your yearly influenza booster. Free vaccine this year. And free for a diabetic like me.
