The Grand Inquisitors of Twitter.

I have been banned by Twitter, not time bans but life bans, not once, not twice, not three times, but four times.

VPNs and creative nomenclature can let you get back into any window.

What gets me it is always for a real, honest, opinion.

I think the West should consider trying to assassinate Putin.

I think cats are going to inherit the earth when, not if, when we humans go extinct.

I think country music is not a racist crime. I like it.

I think I like talking to people with opinions I disagree with but that challenge what I think I think.

Twitter will have none of that.

It is interesting, I do not get life bans on Facebook, only month long bans.

Usually for going on Fox News comment sections and telling Americans how fat and stupid they are.

I do not get it, I grew up there. Live David Attenborough I am just describing nature as I see it, not condemning it.

I like hippos, they are fat and violent.

Just using my First Amendment rights.

True, from a literalist constitutional point of view the First Amendment only applies to government censorship.

I am more of a Christopher Hitchens kind of man and think it should be expanded to serve the entire human civilisation.

So for instance social media embrace section 230 protection they are not publishers, so not liable as publishers are for the content they publish.

Fair enough, you have declared yourself a public square, space, common for speech.

You do not endorse it or own it. You just facilitated it and make a pretty penny selling advertising on the back of it.

Therefore you must allow the freedom of all human speech that does not conspire or organise direct crime.
