The Yanks should have given Ukraine, land based Tomahawk cruise missiles
in the first week of the war.
Then Ukraine could have targeted the Kremlin -
that would have made Putin think twice.

That is a point I have oftren considered with bewilderment. The Ukrainians must have plenty of their natives inside Russia and why they have not been active in some sort of guerilla activity within Russia leaves me bereft.

What better way to have the Muscovites knows there is a War (not a cutely described 'Operation') going on than to put it right at their own doorstep?
