Humans are mammals. We have evolved in many ways. It appears our sexuality has not changed much. Given that animals have gay sex, gay sex isn't some weird human perversion, it's natural mammal behaviour. that some animals use faeces to mark territory etc, is actually smart and workable, and irrelevant to the fact that homosexuality is clearly hard wired mammal behaviour

If animal behaviour has nothing to do with it, then why raise it as an argument for the same in humans?

It is not normative behaviour with animals, that are usually primed sexually by pheromones to copulate. That sometimes apparent homosexuality occurs within animal species may be true as is flinging their faeces. It's not an argument in itself for the same human behaviour.
