When my cat dies I am going to call down sorrow and pain before all the stars.
I am going to demand the universe stop time.
I am going to demand my love fill his dead body up with sorrow and love.
When my cat dies.
We will be here for you Jake, those of us that loved our dog/and or cat, or any critter.
Oddly … reading your posting now… it was earlier today I was outside doing some chores (because yes the sun was shining!) and I walked in… and suddenly felt a bit alone… as I thought of my little fur buddies no longer in the house. People say get another one but I can’t … I’m just not ready. When the dog passed, the cat kept looking for him… they were arch enemies but always kept an eye on each other.
I said to my daughter…. how can we tell the cat… she’s crying for the dog… she sniffs where he used to sleep, then sits there looking around… then she lets out some distressing meows that feel like “where are you!”
I hate the fact they don’t live longer than what they do.
The dog I had looks like Toto … (Albanese’s dog)
I feel such urge to get another dog but I need to hold back… thinking of down sizing and then once in a new abode…
My friend brings Ollie the caboodle over and he’s so happy in my place… I love how he runs around excitedly and jumps up to greet me.
He was my dog’s bestest friend. I dog sit him from time to time.
Ollie is getting old and having so many health issues. My friend is dreading the day when…. Hmmmmm….I don’t want to say it….
I talk to my dearly departed fur babies…. I have photos up and I continually send love to them. I know one day they will be there to greet me.
