Having lived and worked in Port Hedland, Newman, and Kalgoorlie
I've seen several of these "job guarantees" commence with a lot of
fanfare, only to fail months later.  It's very difficult to get aborigines
to work to any sort of 9-to-5 job schedule, as their innate sense of
time obligations is different to us whiteys.

How many full-blood aborigines do you see wearing watches?   None.

How many full blooded aborigines exist now?

What about the 700 plus millions living in poverty over in China?

Relative poverty, like the 3 million in relative poverty in Australia.

The IMF/WB are responsible for the poverty in both nations, ultimately, since they oversee the obsolete method of money creation, in all nations.

But your original post didn't say that (unless of course you are asserting that China is a neoliberal orthodox driven market also). 😐

Have you informed the CCP about your simple 3 point plan yet? They need you. Yesterday.

A Job Guarantee is more complicated in a developing nation, because choices re resource mobilization are more constrained than in a developed economy.

However, China has lifted more people out of absolute poverty at a faster rate than any nation in history, so it should soon have the resources to introduce a job guarantee.

From what I have read of the CDEP, it successfully reduced alcohol and crime in communities which participated in the scheme, from 1977 - 2004.

Unfortunately, IPA 'small government"/free market ideologues convinced Howard to cancel the scheme.

More constrained for whom? The CCP? You're once again sitting around inventing convenient excuses for them. Meantime you've single handedly shot your 3 step simple solution also.

Bottom line? Your logic is wanting. You are a character conflicted by confusion and contradiction.  I actually feel very sorry for you.

You are catching on;  China's  famous "opening up" after the 80s  did indeed involve adoption of Western style neoliberal markets, though not orthodox, because "socialism with Chinese characteristics" maintained a large number of SOEs; eg the CCP government  has built the largest HS rail network in the world:

"China Railway Group Limited's (CRG) parent, China Railway Engineering Group Company Limited (CREC), is 90% owned by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC) and 10% by the National Social Security Fund (NSSF). CRG accounted for almost all of CREC's revenue, profit, debt, cash and assets.1 July 2021

The nation, regardless of style of government. A JG can be instituted as part of the nation's resource mobilization; fewer resources, fewer choices for the nation.

So why hasn't the CCP complied with your simple 3 step process? Let's be extra sure now :

Note the context: the CCP was confronted with a billion people in absolute poverty in 1980. In fact subsistence farming - in absolute poverty - was THE  "job guarantee", ie, every already had "a job" or they simply starved to death (no welfare).

But as to the present, the nation does have enough resources tfor the CCP to introduce a JG, and could do it, but the CCP's particular economic management so far revolves around sufficient infrastructure spending to employ everyone ---- more hit and miss, than a JG.

Time will tell how the CCP chooses to maintain full employment.

The question about a voice has been raised and is now lying in state....

"These words about the Voice are Aboriginal words....."
"Not Aboriginal words - they look like Aboriginal words, but they are not Aboriginal!"
"What do they say"
"I don't know!"
"Who would know?"
"A professor of Antiquities,Dr Kuzar...."
"Where is this Doctor Kuzar?"
"Dr Kuzar is an Abo - he is wherever you have taken the Abos!

(later, of course) ...

"Dr Kuzar - what are these words?"
"They are from a culture long dead..."
"What do they say?"
"It says - I SHALL BE FREE!"
"Voice Partisans then?"
"If so, your voice partisans are speaking to you in a language dead for over two hundred years....

Note the highlighted: all cultures - even stone age cultures - create their own idea of "freedom"; and then defend it to the death.

aka the human condition.

Insane.

It's time for rule by the UNUDHR.

Nothing about separate cultures in that statement, only "universal human rights"...not "inalieanable", but created.

How the phukk would a Dictorian know one thing about that?

I can tell you many more than you think.

What's more why would they need a wrist watch when they all have mobile smart phones & post all the fighting & violence in their communities straight to the internet ... a la Youtube & Face Book etc.

You actually have not one iota of a clue about Aborigines  - full blood or not.
