Moderators don't have much in the way of authority. Forum owners do. They also have responsibilities.

I won't mention who they were. One of them seems to have had a personality change where he seems to believe differently to what it was he thought nearly 20 years ago.

We have some computer experts who know how to hack people's computers. Even if people had VPNs running, it would not guarantee safety of people's computers. Forum owners have a legal responsibility to not post people's information online. But, there are other members and guests who would love to get ahold of people's information. And they either have the ability or know someone who does to get that information.
