Harmful, 'Forever chemicals', now even in rainwate

Harmful, 'Forever chemicals', now found even in rainwater.

Now even rainwater is being contaminated by our actions.

Pollution: 'Forever chemicals' in rainwater exceed safe levels

Matt McGrath - Environment correspondent

New research shows that rainwater in most locations on Earth contains levels of chemicals that "greatly exceed" safety levels.

These synthetic substances called PFAS are used in non-stick pans, fire-fighting foam and water-repellent clothes.

Dubbed 'forever chemicals', they persist for years in the environment.

Such is their prevalence now that scientists say there is no safe space on Earth to avoid them.......

Q.
If all living things in the sea should die [due to harmful contaminants in all water].....

That could never happen ?

Revelation 16:3
And the second angel poured out his vial upon the sea;.....and every living soul died in the sea.

Each one of us, ought to repent, and to pray, and to get right with God.

The 'end' can't be very many years away now.

Is that correct bobby ?

Matthew 4:17
From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

John 18:37
Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice.

Revelation 22:10
And he saith unto me, Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand.
11  He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.

Funny you bringing this up Yadda because it’s been bothering me as I’ve been concerned lately about our rain water as we are on tank water.
I have this colloidal silver machine… if water has contaminates… it glows bright red! And lately… our rain water has!
Noble water doesn’t however…. But I’m annoyed if I have to buy pure water when I was happy with rain water.
I’ve got one more test to do and see how smokey the rain water becomes compared to fluoride tap water (which is very smokey)
Will let you know soon.

Hi Lols,

Here, i'm on 'only rainwater' too.

But i have no way, or don't know any practical way, to easily test my water for contaminants.

But i feel OK.

I've always trusted rainwater to be 'clean' and safe, but the news we are hearing is a worry.

.

I must not fear.
Fear is the mind killer.
The little death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear.
I will permit it to passover me and through me.
And when it has gone passed, I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
Where the fear has gone there will be nothing.
Only I will remain.

- DUNE

I wouldn't worry about the minuscule amount of silver in rainwater.  Silver
occurs naturally in the environment, mainly in the form of its very insoluble
and immobile oxides, sulphides and some salts.   Because silver ions are
bacteriastatic, it's used both as an emergency drinking water disinfectant
and impregnated in household water filters to prevent microbial regrowth.

it kills germs.

I'm a lifelong atheist Yadda, and with all due respect I have to ask you why
you so often post biblical scripture in your responses.  I'm assuming you're
a theist (yes, no?) and presume you think the bible actually offers solutions
to worldly problems and/or peoples' personal shortcomings.

Of course, I strongly disagree with this, as "faith" is defined as belief without
evidence.  But all holy books rely solely on faith to "validate" their point.  Ergo
we can safely ignore everything scripture has to say.

Yeah.

It is a philosophy of life.

Many people recognise, and believe, that they have made moral mistakes during their life.

[e.g. Billy Joel said, 'We're only human. We're supposed to make mistakes'.]

And, some of them, believe that life [the life we live, as individuals, in this existence] has purpose.

I'm one of those persons.

Others do not, cannot, believe that.

They tend to only believe 'in' what they can see, and feel.    ....and, for example, guilt, is a feeling they are not interested in thinking about.

Life is too short.

Further.....
And yes, i read the bible.

I believe that it [the bible] is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

And as we walk the path which we walk, we all make our own choices    [....about which paths to tred upon].

And i'm especially happy that i am able to do that [....and that i have 'the presence of mind' to do so].

Choose, my path.

John 6:35
And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.
36  But I said unto you, That ye also have seen me, and believe not.
37  All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.

I read the bible,     and i meditate,     and i make choices.

Its great, isn't it !

Deuteronomy 8:2
And thou shalt remember all the way which the LORD thy God led thee these forty years in the wilderness, to humble thee, and to prove thee, to know what was in thine heart, whether thou wouldest keep his commandments, or no.

Quote:

But all holy books rely solely on faith to "validate" their point.

Q.
As individuals, do we [should we] understand the difference between doing good, and doing evil ?

It's not rocket science.
