I think you've nailed it. As best as I can make out,

she disappears every couple of months for a week or two, sometimes longer, ( I'm guessing they lock her up in a padded cell and try to sort out her medication) then after a few weeks, she's allowed back. On her return her posts start off Ok, but then she must run out of medication because after a while her posts get more manic each day until she disappears again and the cycle starts again
