Well, that was the op. (I have now corrected the number in the first bracket)

Freediver knows now that Methra turned up with a few of her multi ids and did an 18 hr marathon session over the weekend. I let her think she was onto something but I occasionally looked in to see how dedicated the moron was to pushing her understanding of the other topic I was discussing the question with another id of hers. So Methra, Snorty and Drunk jump in to support her ( not Groggy as he's banned for spamming OzPol and calling posters pedophiles ). These Moronic Mongs all thought they had discovered simple addition <---- 😂🤣😆

Anyway onto PM I go. I'll explain the background topic and what was originally questioned.

Net Gain = Net Increase +- Net Loss... therefore the Net Gain can be a negative figure...

In this case:-

If 23,858 people move into a city yet 31,726 leave, by how many people is that city down on overall?

23,858 Net Increase +- 31,726 Net Loss = - 7,868 Net Gain.

It's nothing but figure manipulation... just a bit of fun... if you already know the Net Increase and the Net Loss - why bother with any other concepts other than Net Gain?
