A genuine 3 handicap player will not even win the local club championship, Trump is not a genuine 3 marker.

He is a good golfer but he cheats as in everything he does. Nobody has as little character as does Donald.

I played a bit with some good armature golf players one young kid I played with had a handicap of +3 that means that when he played with the Pro's he would have to give them 3 shots. i.e He gave Greg Norman a 3 shot head start.

This is or was at the time - likely still is a bit of an anomaly with golf. + 3 means that he has to give the course 3 shots ( he needed 3 birdies to play to his handicap). Professional golfers are limited to scratch meaning they have a handicap of zero.
