It seems to be what they are paid to do.

Hard to say.

Bobby, do you think it's unfair for the FBI to retrieve top secret government documents?

Do you think it's unfair to investigate crimes Dear Leader signed into effect?

A simple yes or no will suffice.

Trump de-classified them -
when you're the president you can do that.

Oh? AG Barr begs to differ, dear.

What say you?

You wana hang em?

No he cant nobody believes this and the tell is that they refused to make this claim to the court along with the fact that all his white house team are saying that it is untrue.

OH and when documents are declassified they have a declassified stamp on them.

Besides in terms of the charges it makes no difference, classified or declassified they belong to the government and not Donald.

Correct.  The classification nonsense is completely irrelevant.

The three crimes he's being investigated for - in relation to the FBI search warrant carried out on his country club - have absolutely nothing to do with the documents being classified.

Classified or not, he's still committed at least three very serious crimes.

The Trumpists are just far too stupid to realise this.

I see. So what defence might Dear Leader have for taking over 50 boxes of classified government documents from the White House, and placing them in an unlocked basement in Mar a Lago?

We'll do this as a multiple choice, shall we?

A) He wanted to protect those documents from the Deep State. WITCH HUNT!
B) He wanted to test the skills of the Chinese spies, three of whom have already been caught on the grounds. CHI-NA!
C) He planned to set up an alternative government with its own National Archives in South Florida. MAGA!
D) He just wanted them, okay? Stop complaining, leftards.

Remember, the Trump administration was "the most open and transparent presidency ever, believe me." Why would he make off with the paper trail?

You tell me that.

E) - he believed that the Clinton's and Biden's were involved in crimes
and was hoping to go through those documents to search for evidence
so he could report them to the relevant authorities.

I see. So you've made up your own answer. Good, good. We're getting started.

So your defence for what may prove to be the biggest theft of government records in US history, is:

Mr Trump believed the Clintons and Bidens were involved in crimes
and "was hoping" to go through his own presidential documents to search for evidence.

Is that your final answer? Lock it in?

I was only speculating.
No answers are locked in.
I'm sure Trump had good reasons to have those documents.
Trump was always claiming he'd drain the swamp so
I came to that "looking for dirt" conclusion myself.

That's exactly why he stole them - to monetise them.

If he was looking for dirt, why didn't he do it during the four years he was in the White House?

He has no excuse.  He's a thief, and he'll be charged and convicted as such.

In his own administration's records? If you don't mind me saying, Bobby, that's a little suspicious.

Do you think Dear Leader was investigating himself?

If so, why was he so miffed at the FBI getting involved?

Shouldn't he be thanking them?

A simple yes or no will suffice.

I never said that bobby,
However, if anything Biden or Clinton
has done that is in the least bit dodgy, comes to light, I will be happy to say that they should be prosecuted, if what they have done is criminal ,like Trump has done.

Who knows, but I would think that as the FBI has been in possession of that laptop for more than a year, I would have thought that charges would have been laid by now .
Im happy to wait and see, im not one to judge people on hearsay.
