He left them in an unlocked room near the pool. Anyone who visited could take a peek. His staff most certainly did. After all, they put them there.

Now we all know how seriously you take classified government correspondence. You take breaches like these with the highest level of concern. We're talking about the leadership of the free world here, not some tinted banana republic. If I recall, you wanted to see Hillary prosecuted for having 22 classified emails on a private email server, do you remember?

Look, everybody in business knows you have to cut corners from time to time, it's what you do. Anybody who's achieved greatness in a particular field will tell you this: they didn't get there by following the rules. Geniuses and creative types experiment and explore, they break new ground.

Would Arsenio or John Rich or Leeza Gibbons have won Celebrity Apprentice by obeying every single rule? Of course not. Because of this, each of them were able to provide thousands of dollars to charity.

Mr Trump himself, you'll note, had his own charitable foundation. He has helped countless people over the years. That, and his service to the American people, has made it all worthwhile. It's how he manages to sleep so well at night. Nothing brings more pleasure to Mr Trump than giving to others.

So yes, if that means he has to cut a few corners from time to time, so be it.
