Morty Sad Man, that particular conspiracy theory has already been debunked ...
as for this one
Quote:The President can declassify any secret document he chooses
There are well-established procedures in place for declassification of secret documents, none of which Trump appears to have pursued. So it seems that this is another lie ...
Even if they
were declassified, it doesn't matter: Trump still broke the law.
The only thing to decide now is if he gets the top or bottom bunk.
The above is correct, It does not matter if they are declassified or not and the procedures required were not followed. It is in fact a lie nobody had ever heard of this before the
excuse lie came out.
But as well as this the President does not hold the right to declassify all documents so no he cannot declassify any document that he chooses. There are many documents that he can use the correct procedure to declassify however
being declassified does not make it legal to then steal the document.
The documents still belong to the government and are kept in the archive if related to Trumps presidency and in other secure locations if not.
True, this was news earlier in the year, when Mr Trump begrudgingly handed over a few boxes of records.
One of them was a magnanimous letter by a certain
tinted American prez, congratulating Mr Trump on his 2016 erection win.
This went unanswered by the 45th president, who went on to pen heartfelt letters of support to another world leader, a North Korean dictator known affectionately as
Rocket Man.
Both letters were classified top secret: never to be released. We still haven't seen them.
Strange how Mr Trump says he declassified them at the last minute of his PrEsIdEnCy. He most certainly did
not want them getting out.
I wonder why.
