It is not absurd at all. Both all ideological attempts to make the actual conform to the ideal. And just as FGM is absurd and repellent at any age, so is 'gender reassignment' (a hideous Orwellian doublespeak term if ever there was one).
Clitoridectomy (FGM) is carried out on girls at a very young age, mainly
in Africa, the Middle East, and Asia. Currently, new data suggesting an
estimated 40 million girls in Indonesia have undergone FGM. The traditional
practitioner performs FGM without anesthetic or sterile conditions, and in
some countries it is done as part of a wider ritual related to early childhood
marriage.
The girl is restrained whilst the external genitalia are removed using a
knife, scalpel, or other sharp instrument. An increasing number of procedures
are performed at a younger age, and the WHO estimates that up to 83% are
performed by unqualified individuals. And of course the girl has no say in it.
During the worst form of this practice—infibulation—the clitoris is amputated,
the labia minora are shaved off, and incisions are made in the labia majora to
create raw surfaces. These edges of the labia majora are brought together
and made to fuse using thorns, poultices, or stitching, and the girl's legs are
tied together for two to six weeks.

I'm guessing you have very little idea of exactly what gender reassignment and
its precursors are in order to claim that its subjects have "sick minds". Prior to
any hormonal or surgical intervention, there's a battery of tests performed by
the patient's GP, and psychologists and surgeons. And not all applicants are
accepted for reassignment surgery anyway. At any rate, who are you to judge
duly informed adults who wish to transition?

This citation actually supports my claim that puberty blockers should be prohibited
for anyone under 16 years of age (as I said earlier). Obviously, the Tavistock clinic
patients were under that age when the puberty blockers were first administered.
The fact that currently puberty blockers have been administered to children as young
as 6 years of age is of course totally unacceptable, and should be made illegal.
You cannot 'transition'. The premise and all its subsequent justifications are false. You can no more 'transition' than Jacko could become a white man or Ollie London a Korean or a dwarf a basketball champion.
Your sex is not "assigned" at birth like some random, unjust imposition by a cruel doctor or midwife, to be corrected later by 'informed adults'. What stupid, odious nonsense.
