‘Why’, I asked Hitler, ‘do you call yourself a National Socialist, since your party program is the very anthesis of that commonly accredited to Socialism?’
‘Socialism’, he retorted, putting down his cup of tea, ‘is the science of dealing with the common weal [health or well-being]. Communism is not Socialism. Marxism is not Socialism. The Marxians have stolen the term and confused its meaning. I shall take Socialism away from the Socialists.
‘Socialism is an ancient Aryan, Germanic institution. Our German ancestors held certain lands in common. They cultivated the idea of the common weal. Marxism has no right to disguise itself as socialism. Socialism, unlike Marxism, does not repudiate private property. Unlike Marxism, it involves no negation of personality and, unlike Marxism, it is patriotic.
It is known that for a short time Hitler played up to the socialists in his party as a way to gain support from common workers, he soon dumped that and chose to eliminate the socialists instead. Hitler had a long record of telling people what they wanted to hear and not what was true. The English went to see Hitler and were convinced that he wasn't going to invade anyone. That doesn't mean he wasn't a socialist. As you say, he was a fascist, so then, he was a fascist socialist. He wasn't a capitalist was he? It was the capitalists that put Hitler into power. Quote:That doesn't mean he wasn't a socialist. If he were you would wonder why he imprisoned and killed socialists ? The gruesome, wannabe engineers of human souls have always been fighting each other. well - apes have always been fighting one another (except maybe the Bonobos....) And the fighting has continued, as increasing competition in techological advance - and the fighting over who well be the slaves required in that advance - persisted. Marx saw a different way: "workers of the world, unite." Quote:SocDems versus Nazis, Bolshevik versus Socdems and Nazis, left faction of Labor versus Right faction, Marxists versus Prudhonists etc, etc. Your error: social democrats don't fight Nazis, they fight the status quo which is churnng out $billionaires amid entrenched poverty and soaring inequality among individuals and nation states. Quote:I see no significant difference between Marxists and Hitlerists. That's because you are defining those terms in terms of your own Conservative ideology. Hitler wanted to remove whole races from the world; Marxists want international socialism: "workers of the world, unite". How many 'class enemies' have your guys murdered, ignorant parrot? Tens of millions.
