In Australia we could have stopped mass immigration -

1 million people came here since the end of the Covid crisis and
there are another half a million on their way this year -
all when there is no housing for them.
I blame the filthy communist Labor Govt. who don't care at all about the poor.
They only pretend to look after the poor.
Rents have never been higher and they are skyrocketing in Victoria
with the new land tax on landlords who will pass it on to struggling tenants.
That directly affects the poor.

That's exactly what we have in Australia.
Top members of the communist party always lived lives of extreme luxury.

The Labor Govt actually kept their mass immigration numbers secret until about 2 months ago.
All main stream media was predicting: house, unit and apartment prices to fall drastically
as 11 interest rate raise in a row would force over 100,000 mortgage holders to sell up
putting a huge supply of property on the market -
even a price collapse.
Mass immigration caused high demand and skyrocketing prices
exactly the opposite of what everyone was predicting.
I personally know of units that went up 25% in the last year.
I saw houses go up over $200K in one year too.
$800K to well over $1 million.
