Dr Stephen J. Morris is an Australian citizen living in the US. For 10 years he was a fellow of Harvard University’s Centre for International Affairs, Russian Research Centre and department of government. For 16 years he was a fellow at Johns Hopkins University school of advanced international studies. He has taught at the University of NSW, Boston University, Johns Hopkins University and the US Naval War College.
He wrote:
"For these extremists ( ie the "radiccal neo Marxist Left") the solution to the conflict is not creating a state for Palestinians living in peace alongside Israel but the complete destruction of the state of Israel."And then he conflates support for a 2-state solution - which is supported by most of the UN and
certainly the mainstream Left including Biden, regardless of support by "the radical neo-Marxist Left" - with the extremist view of one state, ie either Palestine (Hamas) , or Israel (the f**kwits in Netanyahu's coalition, which he doesn't consider, of course...).
So Morris has shown himself to be blinded by political ideology - mixing the mainstream Left with the "extremist" neo-Marxist Left (whoever they are) , and so is incapable of simple reasoning and rationality.
Sad, even intelligence can be crippled by unreasoning political ideology, creating political hacks like Morris.
Support for UN res 242 is NOT "extremist".
