Why do Marxists adopt 'lizard brain, dog eat dog, red in claw' capitalist policies an practices?
Why can't Marxism stand on its own principles (for which it has been making ridiculously large clims for almost two centuries)?

1. because the collectivization policies carried out in Marx's name, decades after his death, ignored human nature and the effects of incentive and reward.

2. The Marxist principle "workers of the world, unite" is increasingly irrelevant as AI and IT operate ever increasing sections of production. Today we need an above-poverty job guanrantee, to eradicate entrenched poverty.

Over-production is the problem today, as nations fight to protect their own markets and  production facilities, because China can now easily outcompete  the US and EU in growing EV and PV production, on quantity and price, in global markets.

So we are over-producing - but must give everyone a job to produce more.  Do you remember your 'points' from one sentence to the next, idiotic robot?

Ah...good to see you engage your brain.

Obviously I have to lead you slowly, on the path to understanding.

No,  we must give everyone a job which satisfies a social need,  as manufacturing jobs are automated.

China alone could easily and  most efficiently produce cars and PVs for the entire world, but geopolitics and neoclassical orthodoxy are a barrier to sensible global production.

Quote:
You sound like a very badly programmed third rate Chinese robot. If you are what China is aiming for then they are ****ed, good and proper.

You talk about robots a lot, but don't consider their  implications for production.

Saw a Reuters article noting the vast PV capacity (90% of the world's production) in China, but they concluded by saying the PV market is China is limited, as if the entire third world doesn't exist ....obviously the Reuters half-wits  think money, not resources, is the problem hindering takeup  of PVs in the 3rd world.

So why is China over-producing?

1. because the US and EU are turning up the trade barriers to 'protect' their own jobs, and to 'contain' China, also  fake US 'security' concerns have crippled Huawei, China's first global leader in 5G tech.

2. because the PBofC is beholden to Western debt and deficit mythology, and hasn't introduced a job guarantee; the CCP aren't producing the unemployment stats any more since youth unemployment rose higher than 20%, as a result of externally-imposed export restrictions noted above.

Quote:
Why doesn't it give away its stuff for free to the third world - or inded the restof the world?

Indeed China COULD fully utilize its BRI without creating  a 3rd world 'debt trap'.  But the IMF won't have any of it....

Quote:
You want Wester countries to give away stuff for free. why not expect and demand the same from China?

Pity you haven't read the MMT thread, you wouldn't ask such silly questions.

All countries should institute housing (subsidized by govt. when necessary, for low income groups)  and jobs for all - not "give away stuff for free"; free money is only available to the sovereign currency-issuing government  (overseen by an enlightened IMF), not private citizens.

Quote:

The Ant and The Grasshopper....

One bright day in late autumn a family of Ants were bustling about in the warm sunshine, drying out the grain they had stored up during the summer, when a starving Grasshopper, his fiddle under his arm, came up and humbly begged for a bite to eat.

“What!” cried the Ants in surprise, “haven’t you stored anything away for the winter? What in the world were you doing all last summer?”

“I didn’t have time to store up any food,” whined the Grasshopper; “I was so busy making music that before I knew it the summer was gone.”

The Ants shrugged their shoulders in disgust.

“Making music, were you?” they cried. “

Very well; now dance!”

And they turned their backs on the Grasshopper and went on with their work.

Moral

There’s a time for work and a time for play.

If i want to buy anything, i never buy it on credit.

I will save the money that i need, to buy the thing i need/want for cash.

I'm not entitled, i wasn't born with an entitled spirit.

.

HOW DID I GET MONEY, AND THE FEW POSSESSIONS I OWN ?

I left school at 16.

I had a job [pre-arranged] 2 weeks after i left school.

In that period [after gaining employment] i was a lodger, living with a family, paying to live with them.

lodger = = a person who pays rent to live in a property with the owner.

I changed my lodgings about 4 times, in about four years.

After working at the same job for 4 1/2 years [and saving my wages], i quit my job.

After i quit my job, i got a passport, because i had decided to go traveling to Europe and to Israel.

It was a great experience !!!    .....it was a fantastic life experience for a young, naive, inexperienced, familiy-less, young man.

After 2 years away, and almost broke [cash wise], i returned to Australia.

After i returned, i got a job [and accommodation] on a gold mine, in the Northern Territory.

I saved my wages.   ......and on, and on.

Then i made some more choices.

.....that was > 40 years ago.

.

Nothing 'fell into my lap', in this life.

I had to be self reliant, and i had to work, AND LEARN TO LIVE FRUGALLY, until i had the means, to acquire the things i wanted/needed.

frugal = = sparing or economical as regards money or food.

Today, my life is 'comfortable', but i'm not a wealthy person.

Er...have you heard of the cost of living crisis affecting low and middle income earners?

Cards won't help if your pay doesn't cover the rent....

Yes i have!!

Have you ever heard the advice......

"DON'T LIVE BEYOND YOUR MEANS."
    ???

That means only buy, only possess,   .....  >> what you know <<   that you can afford to financially service.

Only an idiot [a greedy] 'child', would demand to be given 'a big toy', in order to 'stroke' their own vanity.

e.g.
Going deep into debt, to buy a expensive new house, which a person really may not be able to service the debt for - IF IT IS POSSIBLE THAT YOU MAY EXPERIENCE SOME   >> UNEXPECTED <<   HARDSHIPS IN YOUR LIFE.

i.e.
S H I T   HAPPENS, in life.

Anyone who make the CHOICE to rely upon   >> credit <<   cards to fund their everyday expenses is an IRRESPONSIBLE idiot, imo.

credit = = the ability of a customer to obtain goods or services before payment, based on the trust that payment will be made in the future.         money lent or made available under such an arrangement.

The Tarzan in the original book was an Englishman. So, no mythical cultural marxism involved.

Poor Frank, I have to spell it out for you - again. Sad

Yadda was claiming people should limit spending to what they can afford, but he forgot rents in Oz - part of essential living costs - are currently unaffordable for many....

I agree with what you have said but Marx did live in London for a decade or more.

The Gulag Archipelago

...

Author Tom Butler-Bowdon has described the book as a "Solzhenitsyn's monument to the millions tortured and murdered in Soviet Russia between the Bolshevik Revolution and the 1950s."[35] An edition of The Book Show said that the book helped expose the brutality of the Soviet system.[38] Psychologist Jordan Peterson, who wrote the foreword of an abridged fiftieth anniversary edition released on 1 November 2018,[39] described The Gulag Archipelago as the most important book of the twentieth century.

"Cultural Marxism is everywhere."

....maybe, but real marxism only exists in the heads of the Coalition in Oz; eg,  in Parliament,  Dutton and co. accused the ALP's changes to the stage 3 tax cuts  of being "marxism".

Naturally,  when the opposition nevertheless voted FOR the bill,  the hilarity on the government benches was huge.
