Slamming on brakes at 110kph

Slamming on brakes means full emergency braking pedal to the floor.

Very likely would cause damage to the braking system of the car, hope the tires are perfect and zero unknown mechanical issues. Also hope the road is perfect, a big pothole or gravel on the road could cause a major accident.

What about the car behind, how are his brakes, tyres? Is the driver under the influence of drugs or alcohol?

Even if the driver behind could react fast enough, (unlikely) can his car brake as hard as the car in front?

Getting nudged from behind at such speed would almost certainly result in a big accident.

Did I leave anything out?

It's how mafia and drug cartels take out other cars behind them. Smith watches a lot of hollywood mafia movies. He's been practicing.

I had some idiot in a BMW try to take me out (I was driving a Van) along the freeway near Liverpool. The other cars behind, backed off a long way as he and I battled it out. Obviously on drugs and BMW entitled and he kept swerving from each lane to brake hard and take me out. Reckon it was John Smith, because I saw meatballs flying out his windows when he swerved from lane to lane. Seeing the blatant stupidity of this, I decided to swerve into the grass mid-strip and stop. Waiting for his 'hail mary' attack to stop also and get out to have a go, instead - he must of felt 'victorious' and just sped off.
All this, because I gave him the high-beam flick because he pulled in front of me without a safe margin. Roll Eyes

If the slammer or the tailgater dies, c'est la vie, but look at a few videos of what happens when cars end to end at high speed. Usually one of the cars will careen out of control, and could easy flip into oncoming traffic.
