One of Lisa/Larry's catfishing techniques is to share *private* information via PM with those she thinks are sympathetic to him. Once she shared both John Smith's and Mothra's alleged real names with me via PM. Of course, these names were not authentic. This is the technique of "reciprocity" in which the recipient now feels obliged to share information with the giver. Other times he takes the approach of asking what is going on either here at Ozpol or PA with the intent of building rapport.

Lisa/Larry is a sly & slippery character and I advise everyone here to be on guard.

Except that I don't store away PMs from 10 years ago or more
and then use them when it's convenient to embarrass someone now.
I consider that stalking.

I normally wouldn't keep PMs for longer than a few months.
I certainly wouldn't betray someone's confidence even
if the PM had wrong information in it.
