We moved past sensible a long time ago and the ridiculous hasn't worked either. I have a .22 revolver that I keep in a safe and yesterday I took it out to make sure it was still in pristine condition. It was loaded and in all the months it has been left there it never once discharged. I guess I have a well behaved firearm. It hasn't tried to harm anyone in all that time! Now that I think about it I don't know of any firearm that has fired itself except the one Alec Baldwin pointed at his camera crew. What an evil gun that must have been.

I'll give you a chance to run away but after that, shame on you! I have done it before and am glad he decided to run away because I was a heart beat way from things going really bad. It wasn't about what was in front of me, it was about that sleeping little boy and his mother behind me! I have always been glad I had more than sharp words to discourage the intruder! You would deny me that.
