I am surprised this is still legal in parts of the United States. I had the exact experience when I voted early last week!

I voted in Texas today and I was really impressed with the new voting system:

1) You present an ID
2) Your ID is scanned and confirmed electronically and you have to recite the address on the ID from memory
3) You sign your name that the ID is yours
4) You are given a code and a blank paper ballot
5) You go to a voting booth
6) You input your code in the voting machine
7) You input your blank ballot in the voting machine
8) You select your votes
9) You review and confirm your votes
10) The voting machine then prints your votes on the blank paper ballot
11) You take the now printed paper ballot to a scanner that scans the ballot and automatically drops it into a box

If you skip any step your vote is void.
Tampering of the vote count will be known because the paper ballot count serves as a check on the electronic vote and the electronic vote serves as a check on the paper ballot count.
The paper ballots can be audited.

Total win in my book!

If the 2020 election was conducted this way in every State no one could claim voter fraud. (of course the winners and losers would have been different) Show us how wrong we are by using this system for the entire country in every future election!

In this case I am going to take the Liberal viewpoint. I "feel" that people in Prison must belong there or they wouldn't have been sent there. I don't know anyone in Prison, I'm not related to anyone who has ever been in Prison. To me it is a non issue except for the political prisoners held without trial from January 6th!

I don't understand why some of you believe a firearm has some magical power to make good people do bad things. The best way to reduce crime is to be able to shoot back without fear of the legal system punishing people for it!
