Here we go. 
The Republicans are hopeing to exploit the death of the Queen for their Celebrity infused Lefty Green Republic movement again.

What they are again doing wrong is forgetting that Britain comprises 2 facets - the Political and the Royal, with the Royalty belonging traditionally to the cause of Masters of Ceremony or Entertainment (hence the Court Jester cliche).
The Royal facet is more 'European' and the Political is indeed more 'Western' (although the USA is not truly 'Western' yet, while being politically lame with the North/South agenda).

So what does the death of a Royal got to do with a Political movement here in Australia?
Well considering that those who want a Republic (though they haven't a clue how it should work, for want of just copying an Irish cliche up there in the Northern Hemisphere) - are all Media orientated. Yep, Celebrities like Bryan Brown, Fitzsimons, Thomas Keneally and more. All Media dependent to the Entertainment industry.

So maybe they should just fess up and say the Australian Media want's 'independence' from the European Entertainment Industry of Kings and Queens of Music?
You know, to get kicked out of Eurovision.

The Political side of Britain - well here in Australia, its a Penal Colony birth. Don't blame the Convicts for the Genocide of the Aborigines and the 'invasion'. They were chained up. The British Troopers are also not much to blame - they were busy guarding the Convicts. They didn't need 'black slave labor'.
Blame the Free Settlers and Squatters of Colonialism with their American right to own a gun, one of which destroyed the 'harmony' between the Aborigines and the British/Convict liason.
The British Troopers sadly had to act on behalf of the grievances of the Settlers/Squatters shooting 'blacks' and being retaliated against. The British even put out the propaganda that 'Whites' will be hanged too, for murdering Aborigines.

So its no surprise that these lefty Republicans just want to hide their past via the Media and blame others by introducing a Republic to 'usurp' any hand-over to the Aborigines from 'British' direction.
In other words - they are bound to the American Media/Democrat North corruption with their well known and stated: Republic with a 'President' as Head of (51st) State. So we know where they are coming from.

The Political (The West) Path is different to the Music (North) path. What we see in America is the inability to distinguish (discriminate) between the two. At the moment - you have the Media/Entertainment Industry basically maneuvering Politics and its a selfish 'domestic' Politics too.
You can see why many other International Nations don't accept the American Political regime currently, never have.
The truly 'western' Political expression has not yet emerged and it still remains with Britain.

It's a complicated situation.
But lets just say, that the Republican 'Media-Left' agenda is not 'political', it's just exploiting politics for its own narrative.

Will they succeed? They can, but the world will not be a better place for it. Their Republic is basically a rebelling from British to grovel to the current corrupt Political America under Media influence. It will be flawed, not just for being a cliche Irish copycat. But for not being truly Political 'independent' from the Media and the North/South dysfunction.

Now why don't the so-called 'political' Republicans declare a Republic from the 'Political' British like the PM? The Royals abstain from Politics, its not their 'show'.

I can tell you. A true 'southern hemisphere' Republic (first of its kind) won't emerge until Australia fractures into many independent little nations as the priority of power here.
Whatever Republic comes before that - like from these Media-Lefties, well if you want to follow a path to a dead end, go ahead. It's a short cut indeed.
