It's outrageous -

Spray pepper spray into a citizen's eyes,
to strangle a citizen,
to shoot citizens with dangerous rubber bullets or
to beat citizen's with batons,
to face slam citizens into the concrete,
people can't see their dentist or get elective surgery.
5.5 million people are under curfew - under house arrest,
over 260 days - amongst the longest lockdowns in the world,
$5,000 fine for being more than 5km from home,
2 years jail and $90,000 fines?
arresting people on a beach,
arresting people who were sitting on a park bench -
trying to get their breath back after "exercising" with a stupid mask on -
unable to breathe properly -
contractors with Covid allowed to work at up to 3 rest homes per day -
spreading it around and killing 1000s of old people.
Compulsory injections of untested vaccines.
Take it or lose your job.

Why didn't just one of Labor's many MPs tap Dan on the shoulder and say -

'Dan - don't you think you've gone a bit overboard here?'

How could so many people in Govt. all go along for the ride?
They voted for it.  Shocked

Victorian election needs to be a ‘referendum’ on
the 'power-hungry premier’ Dan Andrews

I think Labor will be returned to government but Dan the man may receive a bit of a fright.

More than happy to see Dan returned hopefully with a majority.   He has been reasonably successful over the past years - of course - there have been stuff ups and mini disasters.     I dread to think what is in store for Victoria if the incompetent Libs get in. After the absolute mess they made last time, Victoria certainly doesn't need them again.   I notice Murdoch and his cronies are in full swing today as well.    Good Luck Dan!

Our local aspirant is Gus Mercurio's son Paul.   He is in local government but hopes to jump to State.  To date, he has run an effective campaign and I hope he is successful.

There are 14 candidates in Dan's seat of Mulgrave.
Could Dan lose his seat?

I also don't believe he will lose it, Bobby.

But, even in the unlikely event he does - do you think things will improve for the average Australian in the coming months and years?

Here's a song which comes to mind for today's election (and every election past and future):

Del Amitri - Nothing Ever Happens

"And nothing ever happens, nothing happens at all
The needle returns to the start of the song
And we all sing along like before
And we'll all be lonely tonight and lonely tomorrow"

Sure, whatever turns you on Booby.

And if he keeps it, you leave the forum forever the minute after his win is declared.

Glad we've got that on record now.

Mulgrave is considered a safe seat for Labor so it's unlikely
but it could still happen.
No - I won't leave this forum if he retains his seat.
