Home made spaghetti bolognaise, here is a quick trusted easy recipie i have been using ever since the Wog's arrived on our shores and shared their culture, fry some onions and then add some mince and vegetables with a can of tomatoes and simmer for a while, serve with grated cheese on top and some nice crusty bread or garlic bread and home made vino or grappa.

Don't forget to add the spaghetti, cook until al dente.

Barebones recipe.

The mince should be pork and veal mince.

When the pasta is nearly done transfer it to the sauce bringing across some of the water the pasta is boiling in.

The grated cheese should be Italian parmesan.

Cook finely chopped parsley stems with the onion, top the pasta-sauce-cheese with plenty finely chopped parsley. Parsley is bloody good for you, good for the dishes you cook. Introduce more herbs and spice—oregano, garlic, chili. . .

Glass of a robust red at the side of the plate. Not your best red, a nice robust red can stand up to and complement the flavors of your dinner.

I like cooking… I love cooking shows and I love my collection of cook books and magazines. And like looking for other recipes online too.
But I’m getting tired easily lately.
My back aches. Is it the mad weather? It’s like winter here in Melbourne and we have the fireplace going!
I want to cook so much and do complex stuff but then I have to sit down and rest.
So I cook simple now.
But one thing that helps with cooking and stirring and turns off when done and keeps it hot when ready to serve… the Thermomix!

The fire or a heater on in summer?
Monk is the same in cold Tasmania - maybe he'll get a white Xmas?

Yes - it's the mini ice age that I have been telling people about for years.

It is La Nina and I bet the weather is about normal, slightly cooler due La Nina.

There is no mini ice age and there is no Grand Solar Minimum. All the crap you passed on from conman DuByne is wrong.

There will never be snow where I am.

I get my furniture tomorrow—in a few days time I will be able to cook! once I have the stuff roughly in the right place I might make another bit of a holiday and go visit this working windmil grain crusher.

All the parts of the grain, all the goodness still there because the grinding wheels move slowly, little heat to drive off volatile parts of the grain.

100% wholemeal wheat

100% wholemeal rye

Store in freezer.

Make sourdough starters, bake bread eventually.
