One field of study within geology is paleontology (and that has a subfield called palynology.) Obviously, zoology and botany are useful to understanding fossils and so working out ages of a formation, the environment it was deposited in etc.

I have 6 eggs boiling on the stove at the moment. I am going to follow that up with 2 oranges, and a parsnip. Then I will have a bowl of oatmeal. That is my meal for today.
