Solve the Abo problems?

...

Clearly, dividie - you are using this job guarantee and other unrelated nonsense about the economy and the alleged plight of Abos as a stalking horse to push this nonsensical voice.

Spoke to a bloke today - he said his brother had lost his farm in NZ under new laws - had to give it to the Maori after four generations of work.  Sounds pretty South Africa to me....the biggest difference being that in South Africa the Blacks were and are the majority.... that's St Jacinda for you...

No, thank you....

The Voice referendum must fail.

Four percent of the population, with some ancestors are from pre-1788 Australia, should not tell the parliament, elected by everyone, how to conduct itself.
Who will elect the Voice and how? Who will be eligible to be a member of the Voice?  What will be its powers and its limitations? How will it be funded? By whom - the 4 % or the 100%?  What happens if the Voice's proposal is not accepted by a government?
What are "matters relating to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples"? Is the date of Australia Day such a matter? Welcome to country at the beginning of every meeting? Statues of 19th century statesmen? High school history books? Teaching Aboriginal mythology to every child?  Mining and resources? Buildings, roads, bridges?

Turn it around- what would be OUTSIDE of the Voices preview? What are"matters NOT relating to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples"??

Funnily enough, the Nationals' MP Mr Gee resigned from the party today, because of what he termed the Nationals' "premature" rejection of the voice.

Confusion all around.

The fact is:

"It's the economy, stupid"

Pearson knows it, hence his support for a Job Guarantee; IPA stooge Price doesn't.

What are "matters NOT relating to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples"??

No I'm pushing a JG, like Pearson, to close the gap, because I recognize the voice will not close the gap - which is real for black aboriginals, not "alleged", as explained many times.

Poor Jacinda's ratings are falling like stone, she's no longer a saint, because she hasn't a clue how to eradicate poverty.

So the disillusioned population will have no choice but to give the other mob a go, even though they too haven't a clue how to eradicate poverty...the revolving door of deluded, adversarial, blind leading the blind politics.

The voice will have nothing to say about the life expectancy, incarceration rates and health status of white people.

..... though if the nation deals with these issues among blacks, then whites' stats might also improve.

OK - we'll send the troops in tomorrow and sort all those things out then.... once and for all..

Now - how do you plan to actually go about 'dealing' with these issues? Do try to stay on subject ... you can discuss life expectancy etc any time but not in a thread about this 'voice' nonsense...

But everything else is in their preview.

Btw, non-aborigines are not all white, parrot.

you refuse to see the connection between the economy, the gap and the voice.

you are at least as dangerous as the voice fanatics, since the gap must be closed, failure is not an option.

There is no connection..................everyone agrees that this silly voice proposal (no parachutes yet) will not help their real problems one iota and will instead just be trouble for everybody ..... yet you persist... it is you who are the dangerous one apparently playing what you think is a very sneaky game to try and sneak this over the line by whining about economic issues instead of social issues ....... your way was tried - it failed like every other initiative to lift the Kaffir by his bootstraps out of his self-imposed dung heap.

The very aptly named Mt Warning is showing us what will be the endless carry-on and insanity when any of that kind are given a free voice to control things.... wait for the eruption of 'sacred sites' requiring lock-outs that come about with this NON-FREEHOLD gift of an immense swathe of land up northern NSW - and you imagine the majority of people here are stupid enough to vote that into our constitution... clearly it is not I who am the enemy of the state here or the danger to society............... I am merely the message bearer of truth ...  truthteller you see .............

Remember Castro?  Well - to take his line -history will absolve me ... to add to it - but it will certainly hang you ............

A lot of right wing arseholes are making a lot of assumptions about the voice and how it will work considering "nobody knows any of the details yet"???

There's enough first hand evidence of what actually happens when power is handed to a self-interest and special interest group.... Mt Warning is just that - the warning.

Instead of being a benign transfer of use of land it becomes a battleground for total possession or else... including acts of terrorism for five years in the lead-up to the gifting by the stupid state government... even the Abos are totally divided about this absurd 'voice' proposal, knowing as they do how their own internal group 'politics' works....

Thank's Mothra....However unless people know what they are voting for any referendum won't get up IMO....Fwank is just full of crap as usual....The claims made by these right wing wankers are all bullshit because nobody knows what the voice will look like....Most reasonable people would wait until they know what they are talking about before making dickheads of themselves???
